The hotel smelled as soon as we walked in. A musty smell. Our room was no better but a different smell. Turns out there were 2 pine tree air fresheners in the air conditioner. The kind you put in your car. No coffee maker or hair dryer in the room. We had the room booked for 4 nights but came home after 2. The staff was fine but most had been there for a very short time so that didn’t help. Never staying there again or at any Super 8 if there is more than 1.

This was one of the worst travel experiences I’ve had. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, however we left after an hour and found different accommodations. The room smelled like a mix of dog and must, there were building materials in the hallway, and the hot tub was out of service. A lot of people seemed to be milling around the parking lot and/or long term tenants. Overall this place was substandard for our needs.

The room itself was clean but the entire property is dated and looks nothing like the photos. The exterior has not been kept up. The first floor hallway had an unusual odor, although it did not permeate into the room. Breakfast looked to be just cold cereal although I did not actually have breakfast there. When I emptied the melted ice from the ice bucket into the sink, there were a multitude of brown flecks of who knows what left in the sink. Exterior doors to the property didn't lock, so no key required to enter.

The hotel had pieces of wood propped into the window tracks on our room and many others to keep the window closed. There also was a strong smell of Marijuana in the hallway to our room. My daughter and I didnt feel safe so we left and found another room in town.

Was ok nothing special. Pool was to cool n lighting in pool area was not great. Had to go ask for towels at front desk. Issue after check out with payment still fighting with and nobody getting back to me about. Several emails and a few calls in already with no refund yet. Will look at different place next visit to red wing if not resolved today

Room was clean although the comforters could have been cleaner. Easy and friendly check in. Remodeling is in progress and that’s a plus in my book! Hot tub, coffee and omelets were cold so those need some attention. Overall stay was good and I would return.
