"I am extremely mortified by the experience my family and I endured during our short stay at the Ramada. What should have been a simple hotel stay turned into a disturbing, stressful, and completely unacceptable ordeal.
To begin with, the original room assigned to us was dirty and had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. After bringing this issue to the attention of the front desk, we were moved to another room. Unfortunately, the situation became even worse upon entering the second room.
The second room was in a dilapidated and unacceptable condition. There was chipped paint throughout the room, and the furniture was broken and lopsided. The room looked poorly maintained and far below acceptable hotel standards. This was clearly NOT a 3-star hotel as advertised.
To make matters even worse, we then discovered bedbugs in the second room. I was so alarmed and disgusted that I personally captured one of the bugs and brought it directly to the front desk staff as proof.
The front desk employee then offered to relocate us yet again- this time to a room only one floor above the room where the bedbugs were found. That response was completely unacceptable. When dealing with a bedbug issue, moving guests only one floor away does not provide any reassurance of safety or cleanliness. By that point, I no longer felt safe or comfortable remaining anywhere on the property. Finding bedbugs raised serious concerns about the overall condition and sanitation of the hotel"
