"The property was older but clean and bed was comfortable. Couple of issues overshadowed an otherwise satisfactory stay. One was the toilet that took 5 minutes to fill back up with water in order to be able to flush The other major issue was there was no hot water in the morning. The desk clerk had no sense of urgency about the issue and said her son would have to take a look at it. By this time we had sponged bath and were ready to check out. "

Lake Road Cabin B — Million Dollar Ozark View!

"Cute 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin. I wouldn't say it has a million dollar view (you have to walk to the road to see the million dollar view that is across the road). The only other issues were the bathtub drain - which drained VERY slowly; and two of the burners on the stovetop do not work. For the nightly rate, everything should be in tiptop shape. The upstairs beds were fairly comfortable and the mini splits did a great job of keeping the cabin cool. "

"I always enjoy this place. I came just to do some hiking through the creek and enjoy the water. It is just a pleasant atmosphere there, and one of my favorite parts is that the Tubs are deep! after playing around in cold water for hours, nothing beats sitting in a hot deep bath. I mean, in reality lots of things actually do beat that, but it is still very nice. The food is good as well. I do enjoy staying there. I had a kid free weekend, and although I like bringing them, it was a nice treat for myself before driving to float the black river Sunday."

"Great house stocked with everything needed to cook meals, relax together and enjoy our visit, including comfortable beds, living room furniture and deck chairs. Lovely quiet setting and great decks with beautiful view! The Snipes are responsive and gracious hosts!"

Peaceful relaxing and fun

"Our stay here was great. We brought our dog and he loved all the space to run in the yard. There is no fence so if you have a dog that does not do well off leash it is something to consider. No pets on the furniture, which wasn’t really an issue. The pond has a good access point and a lovely trail around it. We loved using the wood fireplace! Over all we would come back for another weekend!"
