"Checking in was easy except for the keyboard on the tablet was very small which made it difficult to type. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean and had everything that we needed. Hotel was perfectly placed for the seafront. Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked food is always the best. Overall very good hotel, we will book again in the future."

"Good prices and room was in good position looking out at sea. Comfortable bed with clean bedding and towels, nice and quiet allowing for a good nights sleep. The room was clean but 'tired' especially the bathroom. Close to excellent shopping and wonderful Victorian architecture on most of the buildings "

"TV in room was the size of a small computer screen. There was a bracket on the wall for a normal size one but only a desk one was in the room. Room was very clean."

"Room in main house - tired , Wet carpet from radiator leaking, toilet seat nearly falling off and dangerous. Rooms in new extension are much better. Good value but need more staff! We were ignored again during evening dinner - there’s simply not enough staff! This happened last time. No interaction at all after meal was delivered- so they lost money on desserts and coffee and more drinks. Won’t eat there again. Food was actually good ( steak)"
