A lovely family holiday property, extremely well equipped and appointed.

Amazing!

Sand Dollar is a fantastic house with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Everything about the house is comfortable. The lounge is lovely. However, we enjoyed sitting in the dining room playing games and also relaxed in the kitchen. The rooms were far larger than we anticipated. The house is in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It was ideal for our group of eight and we would happily stay there again.

Our 2nd stay

A great second stay in this property. Last time was a New Year stay so it was nice to be able to use the lovely garden. The improvement of adding an en suite to the master was most welcome. Not really a negative but maybe some more comfy seating, outside, in the shade of the garden hut might make this house perfect Either way, we’d definitely stay again. Thank you.

60th birthday

A beautiful house with a lovely homely feel. Decorated to a high spec, but still managed to maintain the cosy feeling. A family get together in a perfect location..we will be back. Highly recommend Anglesey letting…extremely professional and first class service.

Lovely house, great location

The house was very spacious and comfortable for our party of 8. The ground floor en-suite bedroom with walk in shower is particularly recommended for elderly guests. The kitchen and living room are both very spacious and other bedrooms very good. Location is ideal and close to shops and restaurants as well as main beach road. It may be expensive but it’s worth the money.

Great property, great customer service

I agree with all other reviews - this is a 5 star property. It’s absolutely huge with lots of options for bedrooms especially with elderly relatives who can’t manage stairs (on that note a TV on the ground floor would be appreciated). The tuned piano was an unexpected bonus! Loved the huge and relaxing lounge with views. A very special thanks to Anglesey Holiday Lettings for their great customer service. Will definitely book again

Beautiful house in a beautiful location

Loved the house and location - we loved our stay. I would have given top marks all round , we would just have liked to have seen a deeper clean in some of the rooms. Beds,bed linen and bathrooms were immaculate. I would say the kitchen let it down and in some rooms there were surfaces that clearly hadn’t been wiped down .

Family stay

Overall a great location and a nice spacious house. The drive into the parking area at the front of the house needs a lot of tidying up. First impression one of the toilets was stained but we managed to clean it up after buying some bleach/toilet cleaner. The position of the house is great near everything, beaches, shops, bars, etc. The garden was ideal for our dogs. We all very much enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic weekend making special memories in beautiful Anglesey

Sand Dollar did not disappoint. Gorgeous property in a fabulous location . The house was clean and modern . The owner had thought of everything even down to providing toys and books as well as a shed full of outside toys which kept adults and children entertained. Close to the beach as well as shops and restaurants. Ours had been a weekend away for four generations of the family and we could not have made a better choice. Looking forward to returning again at some point. Highly recommend!

Sand Dollar again!

The fact that we, as a tri-generational family, have now visited this fabulous upside-down house for the fourth time should speak for itself. It is a well-designed, comfortable, homely, and very well-equipped property offering everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. It is in a quiet location just two minutes from the village shops and five minutes from the beach which is dog-friendly. We have already booked again for next year! Big thanks to Anglesey Holiday lettings, especially Barbera, who always go the extra mile to ensure we enjoy our stay. Can fully recommend both the property and the letting agency.

If there was a 6* then both Sand Dollar and Anglesey Holiday Lettings would qualify

As a family, we have been visiting Sand Dollar twice a year for the last four years. That,in itself, is a testament to both the holiday property and the letting company. It is an incredibly well appointed upside down house at the centre of Rhosneigr and close to all amenities, plenty to see within a 30 minute drive or just sit in the garden and relax. I have used many different holiday letting companies over the years but non can compare with the friendliness and helpfulness of Anglesey Holiday Lettings. I am a customer for life!

Ladies weekend.

We were a party of 5 staying in Sand Dollar for a long weekend. The property is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The beds were very comfy and the bathrooms spacious and with plenty of hot water. We ate all our meals in the kitchen and used the big table in the hall for crafting and games. The upstairs lounge was really comfy, with plenty of chairs for everyone. The weather was good enough for us to sit out in the garden with coffees and we had evening drinks under the outside pergola. The property was in easy walking distance of the beach and the shops, so a great location for everyone. Would highly recimmend.

Gorgeous Family Christmas

We’ve just spent Christmas week at the lovely Sand Dollar, situated in the heart of Rhosneigr, all amenities a couple of minutes away. We were a party of 8 adults and 2 toddlers, the house was warm and provided enough space for us all to be comfortable. The toddlers were thrilled with their bedroom on the 3rd floor with enough room for the adults to sleep there too. All the beds in the house were extremely comfortable and bed linen and towels of good quality. The entrance hall provided room to hang all our coats and leave mucky boots in. The lounge was big and had fabulous sea views. The kitchen and dining area was also a good space. We had a lovely family Christmas and have already booked Sand Dollar again for Christmas 2024.

A family tradition!

We’ve been returning to Sand Dollar in Rhosneigr for several years, and whenever we open the door, it feels like coming home. Whether it’s cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, watching the sunset from the upstairs lounge, or walking to the beach within minutes, everything about Sand Dollar encourages you to unwind. The location is unbeatable—tucked away just enough for peace, but close enough to the beach, shops, and cafes to feel part of the village. Rhosneigr has a charm all of its own, and Sand Dollar makes the most of it with large windows, light-filled spaces, and those little touches that make holidays truly special. Anglesey Holiday Lettings have been exceptional—efficient, friendly, and always a pleasure to book with. Their attention to detail, quick responses, and thoughtful extras (goodies on arrival!) make everything effortless. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it shows. This house has become our family tradition—a place where we’ve made countless happy memories across generations. Spacious property well located for the town centre and beaches

Large spacious property that caters for all ages with downstairs and upstairs en-suite bedrooms Private and secure garden with lots of toys and games available and so ideal for children and also dogs Good charcoal barbecue facility and covered outside area also for shelter if needed. 3 minute walk to town centre shops and restaurants and 5 minutes to both beaches Small improvements would be some more shelving in the bathrooms and small bins in the upstairs bathrooms

Time and time again

We have been to Sand Dollar twice a year for the last four years. That should tell you enough. We have booked holiday homes for many years now and this is our favourite. High quality furnishings, large family spaces and superbly cleaned. AHL is an incredibly good letting company. Nothing is too much trouble. The owners are very proud of this house - and so they should be. Already booked for next year.

A wonderful holiday home from home

Thank you all so much for such a fabulous holiday vacation- we couldn’t have asked for more - location perfect! House was so well suited to our 2 families with small children - it was above and beyond our expectations- a dream property to spend a week, with every amenity we could want , thought carefully about , beautiful stylish home from home and by the most idyllic beaches and fantastic weather all week . Simply amazing

we were simply blown away with sand dollar. So many good aspects but the first floor view is something else. We could sit there all day! The location with off road parking is ideal. V high standard throughout... go for it!

Homely

The property was a clean, warm and welcoming environment. Plenty of parking space. The interior was clean and fresh with crisp white bed linen. The kitchen would have benefited from a more thorough clean and some of the ground floor walls had been damaged and looked a little rough around the edges. It was noted by one of the guests that no water jugs were supplied in the kitchen equipment. One the whole a lovely stay & would recommend.

Perfect house and garden

This house suited us perfectly as we had grandparents staying on the ground floor with easy access to the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen was so well stocked with plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery. We used the kitchen table for meals and the large dining table was fab for reading and games etc and this meant the kitchen table was always clear and ready for meals! Our dog (and all of us) loved the garden and it was private and secure. The quality of everything amazed us, the beds, mattresses, quilts were all luxurious. The highlight is the living room, with plenty of settees and lots of windows and large patio doors to enjoy the sea view (at a distance) and relax. We will definitely be booking Sand dollar again. We were blessed with sunny weather and the information received by email from the letting agency prior to the trip was really useful with lots of local information. We were in walking distance of the shops and restaurants in Rhosneigr and also the beach. A fab location and fab house! We will also use Anglesey Holiday Lettings again as they were so helpful prior to booking and helped me decide which accommodation would best suit our varied needs. Thank you.

A friend to the rescue

I contacted Anglesey Holiday Lettings having been let down on a long standing booking in Rhosneigr at the last minute. They directed me towards Sand Dollar and I have to say my holiday was not only rescued but enhanced through the rental of this beautiful well-kept property. A lovely family sea-side property.

A very pleasant stay - near perfect for our needs. have booked again (despite no doubt market driven significant price rise). A couple of minor points: WiFi info was not in dining room (as per your instructions) but actually in far corner of second floor bedroom. Previous WiFi hub (disconnected) was I first floor cupboard. Confusion resolved with help of your responsive team. Would have been useful to have digital padlock on garden gate to allow quicker access with young children to beaches.

Excellent property and location for beach and touring the island

If we had one criticism it was that the internal door handles are difficult to use and we had to rescue some of our party who had doors close on them when they were unable to open the door themselves.

Relaxing Family Holiday Home

We have had a wonderful week staying in the “Sand Dollar”, the property offers a spacious living area which has been beautifully decorated to create a very relaxing atmosphere. The garden is enclosed and the patio was an ideal size for outdoor eating. The property was spotless on arrival and had everything we required. Perfect location as a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. We all really enjoyed our time at the house and had a great holiday. Thank you
