“Perfect stay while visiting family in Aberwystwyth. Staying in a suite room, which had plenty of space, comfy bed and a small kitchenette. The location is next to the golf course and the club house is available for food and drinks. We used the driving range.”

“Generally a good experience, but with reservations. A hotel of character, much nicer than bland city tower blocks, but ready for overall refurbishment. Very un-green: no double glazing anywhere I saw. Room cleaning skimpy - glass shelf over sink always left unwiped, tea provisions not topped up adequately, bath not wiped round. Food excellent quality, well prepared. More choice of breakfast buffet items would be welcome. If you are solo and book in advance for dinner, be aware that you might……

“I booked into the hotel for a two night stay as a birthday gift for my wife and what we found was a wonderful experience. The room was ready early and was extremely clean, the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We also booked two reservations in the restaurant and I have to say the food was excellent and the breakfast each morning. The bar also had a great atmosphere. My only observation was that the room maybe could have done with a small fridge to keep the milk that was supplied……
