「My family of 6 had a wonderful stay at this quaint little cabin style house! We enjoyed fishing and swimming off the dock. The Trident Marina is only a few minutes away for a quick bite to eat. The house was clean minus a few cob webs here and there and the sheets/towels were clean. However when we went to strip the sheets off the twin mattress the mattress cover looked like it had several stains on it. Overall we had an amazing time!」

「This is definitely the best place we have ever stayed. We stay here year after year and each time they do more and more updates. Our family loves the quiet dead end road, the game room is perfect for the kids and the large patio is a perfect place to enjoy the shaded view of the kids swimming. It’s not too many steps to the water and the boat dock is perfect for our boat. We have also caught tons of fish.」

「We are a lake family and this was our first trip to Smith Lake. Heron's Haven is a wonderful place to stay. Very spacious and designed for large crowd comfort. Loved the large island, pantry storage, and ample seating for dining or lounging inside and out on the two porches. Delightful breeze and fabulous pier for boats and big kid toys. Decided Heron's Haven had everything when we found a sewing kit in the miscellaneous drawer to remove a splinter! Thanks Fiona and David for a wonderful week.」

「We had a great time at this beautiful property. It was the perfect floorplan for our family. There are 2 master suites with their own bathrooms, bunk beds and 3 other bedrooms with hallway bathrooms. There is also an outdoor shower. The kitchen had a large pantry for supplies so the kitchen was never cluttered. There is a Coffee bar and also a downstairs Ice maker so we never ran out of ice. . 「Very comfortable living space with beautiful views of the lake. Host always prompt with replies to questions (very helpful host). Of note, steep incline driving down to the parking area then limited space to turn vehicle around in order to drive back up and out. Rock steps down to property require careful attention to footing especially when carrying luggage.」

「This house is not only beautiful and spotless on the inside, you are situated by the cleanest lake in all of Alabama! I spent a few relaxing days with my family at this delightful home. There is plenty of room for a large family, an oversized kitchen and amazing lake views from every room. We enjoyed the firepit at night making smores with the kids.
