“A well equipped room with an excellent bed, large TV, fridge and good shower. The room was tastefully decorated and of a decent size. I really appreciated the welcome gifts of biscuits, water and milk too. Breakfast was excellent and a very generous portion. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. I would also recommend the evening meals and good selection of ales - both of which were high quality. ”

“The rooms at the Howfield were exactly as described in the photos. very comfortable bed, good hot shower with good flow and very clean. the housekeeping staff were polite, cheerful and helpful. communication and check in was completed efficiently via text messages with quick responses ( we asked for an early check in and the room was ready for us ) I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again ”

“I'm in a wheelchair so requested an accessible room. One of the best/most accessible rooms i've stayed in. There is a big wide ramp out front with plenty of disabled parking. Room was large and open for maneuvering and bathroom had a sink, shower and toilet setup that was well thought out and simply just worked. “Our stay was a delight from start to finish. We had planned to drop our case and head off to Cardiff before check-in but the room was ready 2 hours early so we were able to check in then! The room was gorgeous. Beautifully decorated and clean and spacious. The shower was lovely once we got to grips with the temperature control. The kitchenette was well-equipped and a lovely touch. The hot tub was fantastic with clear instructions. We were even able to use it in the rain due to the little roof……
