"This is a fairly new/refurbished motel so it was in very good condition. The room was clean and comfortable. However, two things really made the stay less than ideal. First, there is a $5.00 per day parking fee. There was a tractor trailer that took up about 10-12 spaces. I asked if they were charged extra and was told "no," it was a flat fee charged to no matter the size of the vehicle. The building is not located in a densely populated area so it's not like land/space is limited. Must be some pencil-neck in management trying to squeeze a few extra dollars out of their customers. Also, we stayed for two nights. When we returned to the hotel after being out all day, we found there had been no room service, i.e. trash wasn't emptied, no clean towels, in-room coffee service not replenished. When we asked the manager why, she stated they only provide room service after the second day! None of this is noted on the website or the booking confirmation emailed. We did get clean towels but had to ask for them at the front desk. Pretty shabby treatment of guests. Will I use Holiday Inn again? Not likely."

"I haved stayed at this property on an off since the 1990's. It is cheap and realtively clean. Great views. Right off the highway. Will stay again."

"We sre older adults. Traveling long days from S to N. We stop in the middle. A necessary rest. Fire alarm at 11pm wakes us. Rings for at least 5 minuted. Phone doest work to see if its a real fire. Whole hall concerned, of course. We hear all clear. Alarm was a mistake. Not easy at this point to get back to sleep. And then 5 am same thing. It was not a helpful rest for us. Could never recomend. Even tho the beds were lovely. Room clean. Shower great althi small. Breakfast very nice. The main important piece for us is a good restful rejuvenating sleep. Disappointing and disturbing night. "

"It was great, except for our shower. The temperature dial didn’t work right. There was a gap where you couldn’t change the temperature until you turned it to blinding hot. Then you could turn it back. We shouldn’t have had to figure out, how to get a warm shower Plus the step down to get out of the shower was so high that I almost fell. For the rest of the trip I was afraid of our shower."
