A Quiet Place in Paradise

My husband and I love adventuring in new locations and we chose this place because of its proximity to where we wanted to be as well as the ability to escape it when we done. It met our needs on every level! We felt like we were at home. We were very comfortable during our stay. Everything we needed was supplied. We had some days when the cruise ships were in that we stayed there and ventured out on the kayaks. Sat on the phenomenal dock or just enjoyed watching the birds while we were in The pool. Everyone was so very kind from staff getting us settled to the guards at the entry shack. Looking forward to coming back for a visit soon.

LOVED THE PROPERTY & PEOPLE ON IT!

Absolutely LOVED this property and the people for our first time to Roatan!! Top notch customer service before & during the stay! Always immediately available, friendly, even provided a free loaner phone for the room and stayed after hrs to check us in after a delayed flight. Security was ever-present and friendly, greeting you personally and creating an overall feel of safe-community. The delicatessan on-site was wonderful--instantly became a daily drop-by for the food and the friendly company!The sunsets from the pier were some of the best, use of the kayaks appreciated for the quiet times. The unit itself was exactly as pictured, but more spacious than expected. Central AC was much appreciated at night. Kitchen was well-stocked, 2 5-gal bottles of water provided, plenty of bug sprays & sunblocks, even laundry detergent. Some books & movies provided. Very comfortable couch & bed, extra deep soaking bathtub, grill for the fish caught on a charter, private pool and patio that steps onto the sand. Location was exactly what we were looking for--away from the crowds, with a local feel of home. We rented a car and found plenty of restaurants, groceries, etc within mins of the property. I can't imagine looking anywhere else when we return to the island!

Lawson Rock Resort-Angelfish 101

Property, grounds, staff are all fantastic. The view, the private pool and the dock were exactly as pictured. We enjoyed them very much. The location was away from the tourist areas of West End and West Bay so it is quieter than those locations. That does mean you need a car or taxi ride to most restaurants. The shop onsite is open for breakfast and lunch and it was very good. There is some seagrass in the water, so going swimming off the dock is recommended.
