We had a nice relaxing time at Misty Creek of Robertson. House was comfortable and very clean and well stocked with all necessities.
Would have like a more powerful heater (gas heater or fire place would have been nice) in main living and zoned heating as the bedrooms became very hot when the AC was on. Outside could have been a bit better cleaned. Lots of bird poo all over chairs and table. Overall would stay again maybe in warmer months next time.

Ok
Disappointed that the property wasn’t ready on time. It was very clean but I feel that the property was over priced. Nothing special.
This property is quite dated and could use a good TLC such as removing cob webs around the house and the outdoor setting as an example. It felt it had not be used for some time.Unfortunately, the agency "HOLIDAY RENTAL SPECIALISTS' that rented the property, bombarded us with emails and messages after we booked. We had over 13 emails and 7 messages, even whilst we were at the property, beyond messages of checkin and check out. We found it quite intrusive. When asked if they could post back a iphone charger in a self addressed pre paid padded bag, they still wanted to charge 25. We found this a poor & desperate attempt at money grabbing. We were told numerous times that there was no noise outside after 10pm but receiving these texts whilst were were at the property, during our stay, felt like an invasion of privacy. We were out for dinner each evening and being professionals, we are certainly not party people.Unfortunately it did marred our stay. Needless to say we would not recommend the agency.

Very disappointing and poor response from this business.
Sadly, probably the worst experience I have had with a Stayz property (and there have been many over the years).
To start with the mandatory unusually late check in time (4pm!) and poor heating meant it took about 12 hours to warm this place up. Perhaps the cleaner should be instructed to leave the heater on to preheat this house of mainly tiled floors and being in freezing cold Robertson in Winter. The main areas of the house really never heated up properly.
We ran out of hot water both days and obviously this needs an upgrade. Half cold showers were not pleasant!
No frypan. Tried to make my home-prepared from scratch pancakes with a saute pan and had to throw the lot in the bin.
Serious mould issues in the master bedroom walk-in-wardrobe and bathroom. Very bad smell and likely rising damp going on there. Couldn't put my clothes in there. I think there is also a problem with mould in the wide drains in the bathroom. That also smelled really bad.
No proper water pressure in the master bathroom so we all had to share the main bathroom.
Flashing alarm in the master bedroom made it difficult to sleep if you faced the window.
A strange camera in the lounge room with no explanation.
The games/garage light switch and garage door switch were so similar that we kept opening the garage door by mistake. Important to note this if you have small children. Also, our very small children were able to open the locked front door.
On the plus side the coffee machine was good, but no instructions.
I put all these concerns into writing to this business (afterall we did pay a premium for this place). I received a feeble "sorry for the inconvenience" and "you should have called us" and was told it was being referred to another department. A follow up note said it was being referred to yet another department and that was over a week ago.
Sorry, this was not a decent or honest response and very poor customer service. Although I did not want to leave this feedback I feel I should for anyone else considering renting this property.
We went away with 10 ladies for our weekend getaway, we had a fabulous time the house was clean and plenty of spaces to hang out in. We loved the back garden where we took walks along the the creek. The house was clean and had plenty space. The pub was a short 15min walk, The only downfall on this letting was the late check in of 4pm, really should be earlier, and also the shortage of hot water, only 3 showers and the hot water would run out, other than that our stay was wonderful, would come back again.
Great location, clean and tidy. Perfect for two big families

Family wedding stay
I was very happy with the property for our purpose. The location was perfect for our family wedding in Robertson and the space worked well for a mixture of adults and children. The preparation and upkeep of the property was disappointing. I had to spend a morning cleaning the back BBQ area. It looked as though it had not been cleaned in months. Would have been nice if the outdoor fridge had been plugged in for us. I also had to hand wash most of the glasses in the kitchen. They were filthy. Dishwasher proved not to be adequate. There was also an issue with the coffee machine, but when we consulted the property instruction folder, it was a completely different model of machine, so of no use. A few extra towels might have been nice also.
I also had issues with my deposit being incorrectly recorded before my stay. Communication with managers was cordial but in the end, unsatisfactory. They never communicated back to me the results and it was up to me to check that things had been corrected. I was sent an email from management a week before my stay asking, 'how was my stay?' Quite incompetent and unnerving for a mother preparing for her son's wedding day.
I have had much experience renting holiday properties in the last 4 years, both in Australia and overseas. This has been one of my worst experiences. And I believe it all comes down to the management. Our stay could have been trouble free and very enjoyable. They are smalls things, but together they became quite stressful for me. And I do not generally or easily give bad reviews. I hope someone takes this property in hand and gives it the attention it so sorely needs.
Lovely open plan home with all the amenities required. Kitchen was impressively filled with all the crockery, glassware etc that you could require. Beds are very comfortable and the linen provided is fantastic. Very peaceful setting with beautiful gardens. The only thing I could negatively comment on are the steps leading into the living/kitchen areas from the front foyer and the bedrooms - these can be difficult to navigate for the elderly/disabled. Overall we had a very pleasant stay with our family.
