“Our experience with this property was unacceptable from the start. When we arrived, the host had lost our reservation—we had to call them just to gain access. Once inside, we found the house in a filthy and unsafe state. A full bag of garbage sat on the kitchen floor, a dirty mattress leaned against the house, and a bottle full of cigarette butts was outside. The cleaner admitted, “Oh, I forgot to clean,” swapped out some sheets, and left. But the space remained unsanitary—greasy dishes, dusty……

“It was poorly equipped. The furniture was worn out. Two chairs badly damaged and very dangerous. The garden was a tip with a heap of old bottles, cans and empty pizza boxes stacked in one corner. Front wall falling down”
