“I want to start by saying the staff was amazing and very accommodating at waves resort. Our issue was the tiny beach, tiny pool and limited food options. It wasn’t clear that the water taxi that could take you to sister resorts to eat didn’t run at night. This is the most important meal, in my opinion. But they were very gracious about moving us to a resort that fit our needs better.”

“The room was exactly what we hoped for. Clean with lots of space for our family of 4. Beds were comfortable and the kitchenette was a nice amenity since we were able to get a few groceries from the nearby convenience stores. The property is well maintained and the 3 pools were nice. Only downside is that the pool bar/restaurant is not open so the only place to eat on the property is Pure Ocean which is on the beach. The food there is good, but pricey, and service was rather slow. The sea was……

“Poor television channel, poor selections on the menu no snack bar , no entertainment, pool closes early, beach area rocky with dirty ocean side . No beach service of drinks or snacks on beach , no free transportation to and from airport. Especially, considering this was supposed to be an all inclusive resort . This is not a resort, it’s a hotel basically.”

“One of the few 'beach hotels' on the island -- many say they are, but you usually have to cross a road, or the beach is 'next' to the property. This is essentially a beach compound and private! The pool is big, clean, lots of seating. Lay around and watch / listen to the ocean, or use a beach lounger with free towels and lay at the ocean. The beach must be 100 feet deep and hundreds of feet wide, LOTS of beach to use to be alone, or gather, play games, etc. Grab drinks from the beach bar,……
