“Always very welcoming, comfy beds and easy access to local area”

“What an awful stay - everything was OK until I woke up in the small hours of the morning with bites all over my arms. I ended up sleeping width ways at the foot of the bed as I am certain that bedbugs had bitten me whilst lying on the pillows by the headboard. I complained to Debbie in the morning and she steadfastly refused to acknowledge that it could be bedbugs even though I showed here all the bites, including 2 on my neck. I visited a pharmacist in Southend Tesco on Tuesday morning and he……

“I thought the hotel had its own parking but it was a public parking. Room was lovely and clean, disappointed to be asked to hand over my card details just in case we caused any damage ”

“Our room was first class as was the staff we met. We just had a small breakfast but that was also top class. Only one thing spoiled it and that was Experia charging £38 more than the actual cost of the room if we had booked a hotel room directly. We won’t be using Experia again lesson learned (book direct).”

“Staff were courteous and super helpful and efficient. The Indian restaurant was superb. The hotel cleanliness left a bit to be desired in terms of the exterior which wasn’t swept, with cigarette butts all around and rubbish not picked up. I changed rooms because the one I was given was not clean. It could be so nice with just a few details taken care of.”
