Moro 50 is in the heart of Trastevere, the most characteristic district of Rome, one of the most famous places in the world for its unique atmosphere.
Moro 50, inside an old tower, is an apartment with all the comforts needed to make your stay in Rome unique.
Moro 50 is in a privileged position that allows you to reach all the main sights of the city by walking.
The apartment is very spacious and is located on the first floor of a historic building in the heart of Trastevere.
The apartment can accommodate up to 8 people: two double bedrooms, one with a private terrace and an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. The other double bedroom also has a bathroom with shower. The kitchen is large and equipped with every accessory. The living room is double and equipped with two sofa beds to accommodate up to 4 people.

Cute place in great neighborhood vibe

Great location! Perfect for shorter stays! Kirchen is very small but has basics for small meals. Comfortable beds and very quiet in bedrooms located at the back. Clean bathrooms with good showers. Stairs to apartment are narrow and steep and may be difficult for some. Host is very responsive! Super easy check-in!

DESILLUSION

Quartier sympa, animé et assez proche des endroits culturels. Par contre, les photos sur le site ne correspondent pas du tout à l’état de l’appartement. Photos retouchées pour embellir la réalité. Les sanitaires mériteraient un rafraîchissement mais aussi un bon nettoyage (éviers et douches très sales). La cuisine est très vieillotte et sale et ne contient pas assez de matériel pour soit-disant 8 personnes. Concernant les chambres, les lits sont très courts. Vous devez aussi sortir vos poubelles vous-mêmes. La propriétaire nous a proposé de rester jusque midi alors que les clients suivants arrivaient à cette heure-là… Quand est-ce que le nettoyage est fait? De manière générale, appartement assez sombre et très mal décoré.

Lage ist perfekt

Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt.Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in 30 min zu Fuß erreichbar.Auch gibt es viele kleine Läden/Restaurants in der Umgebung. Allerdings ist die Wohnung etwas in die Jahre gekommen,auch das Mobiliar.Im Bad ist Schimmel,der Putz fällt von der Wand und die Duschkabine schließt nicht richtig. Das Inventar der Küche,Töpfe,Ofen etc ist in einem desolaten Zustand. Die Straße ist eine Partymeile,es war in der Nacht teilweise sehr laut. Die Fotos stimmen nicht mehr mit dem Ist-Zustand überein. Im Großen und Ganzen war die Wohnung zweckmäßig.

Apartment was spacious but worn

Considering that this building is several hundred years old, one would naturally expect it to have wear and tear. All things considered, it has held up remarkably well. The appliances, etc. are dated. Showers are tiny (one has a mold problem). Main bathroom mirror lights were USB powered, but no power adapter was provided. Shower door kept coming off its runner. BTW, there was always ample hot water for the showers—a good thing! The second bedroom is so narrow there is no room for a side table, and the mattresses have no box springs. These are all minor objections when considering the advantages of having a spacious apartment for an extended visit. As for the neighborhood, I wanted a nice, quiet, back street which is what I imagined I saw when looking at the listing. Oops! Trastevere is party central, and what I didn't know is that all the tables come out at night, and the noise can be quite disturbing even after midnight. Fortunately, the bedrooms are on the opposite side of the apartment and the doors are thick, so it didn't disturb my sleep. There is a lot of life here, and the food was quite good. Very charming neighborhood. Our host, Patrick, was very accommodating.

Excellent stay in Trastevere

My husband, my sister, and my 18-year old niece had a wonderful stay in Trastevere at Moro 50. Excellent location in a lively neighborhood! We were in walking distance from great neighborhood shops and restaurants and just a short walk over the River Tiber to the Forum, Trevi Fountain, etc. The loft was comfortable and had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

We stayed at Patrick (and Emanuela’s) apartment in the Trastevere area of Rome in mid-August. It was wonderful! A historical building in a unique location. So many restaurants and shops around. Definitely walkable to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, etc but it was so hot, we did taxi to some areas. The bus or metro are also options. The beds were comfy, water was hot and the apartment had everything we needed except air conditioning but there were about 5 or 6 fans that keep it cool enough most of the time. Emanuela personally greeted us when we arrived and explained everything and Patrick booked a car to pick us up the morning of our flight. They both were so kind and accommodating. We loved our stay there and definitely recommend booking this place.

Alojamiento en familia

Nada mas llegar nos recibió la madre del propietario. Nunca he tenido un recibimiento peor, la causa la desconozco. Yo lo único que hice fue preguntarle por el aire acondicionado ya que no lei bien el anuncio y di por hecho que si lo tenía. Pero la mujer se puso a la defensiva y quería que nos fuésemos a buscar otro apartamento. Éramos 5 personas y una era mi madre de edad avanzada y con poca movilidad asi que ninguno entramos en discusión, todo lo contrario le dijimos que todo estaba bien y que estábamos contentos pero ella seguia insistiendo en que nos podiamos ir a otro sitio. Al final por fin se fue y nos quedamos en el apartamento por dos noches. El apartamento es antiguo sin restaurar pero está bien siempre y cuando no sea necesario utilizar el sofá cama.

Great location and helpful host.

Let me say that we truly enjoyed being in the mix of the busy streets of Trastevere. If you are looking for quiet, this may not be the spot, but if you are looking for night life and activity, this fits the bill. The main drawback for us was the lack of air conditioning. It was warm in Rome, mid to upper 80’s (30 Celsius) and the apartment stays warm giving no relief from the hot days out exploring. The apartment is very quaint with old world charm but this also means that not everything works to modern expectations. We struggled to even find enough outlets to charge the various electronics for the family as every other one had tape covering it. We also had some troubles with the shower doors functioning properly but I will say that the host was very responsive in helping us remedy any issues.

Perfect location in Trastevere! Patrick was very easy to communicate with and apartment was very clean and as described in listing. He allowed us to drop off our luggage before check in which was extremely helpful as well.

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. We loved being in the heart of the Trastevere. The apartment was charming, spacious, and comfortable for our family of five. There were a couple of little quirks to be expected in such an old building like a small shower with kind of a persnickety door. Nothing that would prevent us from staying there again. Great stay. Magnifique appartement !!!

Appartement vouté très beau et très propre. Très bien insonorisé et bien situé (pizza, boulangerie, bar, retrait d'argent, superette....) A good choice for the price

This is a cute apartment in a fantastic location. It is a bargain. The hosts get a top score. They even left fresh poinsetta cuttings in the apartment. I did have a problem that most people would not have. We stayed here during a time that it was literally freezing outside at night. The building observes the Italian laws which allow a maximum number of hours of heat and a maximum level of heat. When it is freezing outside at night, this amount of heat leaves you cold. After one cold night, upon request, the landlord allowed the heat to stay on continuously while we were home. They also brought a small heating unit for the back bathroom because that room was always colder than the rest of the apartment. I really appreciate how responsive the hosts were to this problem. In full disclosure, I think that the apartment does not completely deserve a perfect 5 star average. The hosts deserve a perfect 5 star average. The apartment has the types of imperfections which lower cost places often have (a shower door which is difficult to slide, some peeling paint and bathroom mold etc.). The location deserves a perfect 5 star average, but the apartment (excluding hosts and location) would get a 3 plus from me. I gave an overall score of a 4 for this reason (plus the cold night experience).

Apartment was very cute and comfortable-- could use a good bread knife and tongs for pasta, but other than that it had everything we needed for a week of sightseeing and eating! Great neighborhood, very walkable, daily open air market nearby.

Great place and location!

My parents and I stayed during a recent trip to Italy. This was an excellent location for site seeing and getting around in Rome. The space was comfortable and we really enjoyed our time here. Our only regret was that we did not stay longer!
