“This hotel was outstanding, and the staff seemed happy to go above and beyond to be helpful! The breakfast was amazing (best mushroom toast in my life), the room clean and well designed, the bed comfortable, the shower powerful, and the location was convenient and safe. Room 610 was quiet and perfect. Room 1010 had an odd high-pitched sound occasionally that was a bit bothersome. It’s a little high in price, but still a lovely hotel. ”

So much better than much larger chain hotels throughout Joburg. Location and luxury make the Parkwood our top option. ”

“The staff were all helpful. Peggy went above and beyond to assist me. The driver was at the airport waiting for me even though my plane was 2 hours late. Food in the dining room was very good and reasonably priced. Great stay!”

“Goede locatie en vriendelijk personeel. Enkel was onze geboekte taxi door het hotel niet aanwezig op de vlieghaven. De deur naar de kamer ernaast kon bij ons niet op slot worden gedaan (slot was kapot) waardoor ze waarschijnlijk in de kamer naast ons zo in onze kamer konden. Ontbijt was oke en leuk dat er een fitness aanwezig was! ”

“Bring your own wash cloths. There are mice outside running on the property so get used to that. Staff was friendly. The cleaning crew will open the door after a soft knock so be prepared. They change sheets mon, wed, friday. I would not stay here again but it may be a place for others to stay. The mall is within walking distance. That's a plus. Decent neighborhood. ”
