“Staff did the best they could and were extremely friendly but the overall stay was a big let down. We quite understood that our room would not be ready before the specified time but, as the website had mentioned a snack bar/deli we thought we'd spend some time there. Unfortunately it had closed some time ago. Although there was comfortable seating in the reception area it was freezing. We even met the cleaner on the stairs who stopped to ask if we needed anything wven though she was already really busy. We ate breakfast and dinner in the hotel both days and the food was delicious and very well cooked. We plan to return in the summer. This was our 2nd time in Dunoon but first at the marine hotel, we will definitely stay here next time. Perfect location for the ferry as……
