Marsden Stay Rotorua

10/10 Excellent

"The staff is the star of this hotel. Before the check-in, the woman staff was able to reassure how to access the hotel after hours. It was simple and I got in easily for my 3 nights stay. When I check-out, the man staff was very helpful to store my luggage. When I came back to the hotel, it started to rain. I waited until I can walk to the bus station (intercity) but the rain kept going on. The same man asked me if I wanted to have a poncho. To clarify, this is not expected as a service at the hotel. He went above and beyond. I am so amazed by the attention of the staff. They make you feel good at their place. Other than that, the room is very spacious and clean for the duration. You can open your luggage with ease."

"Great space with comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen and bathroom. All the items you need in a small apartment. Cons- Bedside lamp would be a nice for reading and not having the overhead lights on. Traffic noise was loud at times but just in the front room. Check in and out was quick and easy. Overall, we had a very comfortable two night stay."

"I stayed here for a girls weekend from AKL. We received a room upgrade (Thank you 🙏) staff at reception were lovely and attentive, room was great good view of lake and Polynesian Spa too (which we also took advantage of). We used the pool facility often which was so handy! Room service was good too, to have this option and the Pinacolada at the Bar was delish! Renovated rooms are fab!"

"Good location. Proximity to Eat Street and Lake Rotorua. Wonderful views. Property is well equipped with facilities such as pool and spa. Staff are friendly, especially the breakfast team. Praises to the ladies at the breakfast area, hardworking, polite and welcoming. Property and rooms are very tired, needing renovation throughout all rooms."
