「A great country style pub with accommodation & restaurant . Staff were extremely friendly & helpful . My room was in a small detached building that was just to the side / rear of the pub with access straight onto the private path . It was homely with a book shelf + DVDs & was extremely quiet . It was very clean & fresh . Restaurant had a good menu & a log burner to add to the atmosphere . Food was spot on . 」

We were late arriving, rang to let them know an ETA (9.30pm) and enquired if they were still serving food, they informed us that they had stopped serving food around 8 pm, but that they would cook for us on arrival, which was ideal (particularly for a family of 4, all hungry and tired)!
