「We’ve booked one night here at first, then we decided to go there one day before and booked one more day. We told the reception lady when we arrived check in, she said it’s ok, no need to do the check in again and we could stay in the same room. The next day at ten mins before ten, a housekeeper locked on our door and told us to check out. We’re surprised and told her our case, she told us to check with the reception. Then the reception said we’ve to check out and come back by 4 to check in...

「Beautiful cosy double room full of amenities, mini bar, fridge and Nespresso machine, and fresh milk! Lovely modern bathroom. Rooms hot in the heatwave we are experiencing but a fan was provided and I took my own. Hotel provided extra bottled cold water to help which was a nice touch. Loved the local honey given as a gift in the rooms. Had dinner and breakfast. Both very good. Lovely staff team too. Would highly recommend」

「The building is very old. With this comes issues with either a very steep staircase up to the rooms or use of an emergency exit at the rear (which is made of metal steps with a precarious old mat dangerously situated at the top). The room was lovely but it was very hot as situated above the kitchen. The weather was forecasted to be 28/29 degrees and I had to ask for a fan. It was a struggle to sleep in such temperatures as the fan was noisy so had to be switched off. In the morning I was...

The location was absolutely perfect, and having hassle-free onsite parking made our trip so much smoother. 「One of the most beautiful building and gardens. It felt like being at a national trust, not just a hotel because the grounds are so well thought out and looked after. Outfoor Pool area is gorgeous but some bits need a bit of an extra clean or facelift- the rim around the pool had gone green and some features looked slightly dated or cluttered.
