“Just stayed one night passing through. I hate couldn’t stay more!! The Room 8 was wonderful. On the end at the pool, great parking, wonderful view. So cute inside. Rose did a wonderful job cleaning the room. And Holly had a beautiful breakfast laid out in the morning!! Love, love!!!”

“Non-smoking room had cigarette burn marks all over the bathroom. We purchased this location because I had a pool but they decided to open the pool later so it wasn’t even available. The room was completely worn down and in bad shape with sheets, thin comforter. The garbage can outside our door was overfilled to the point we had fruit flies in our room. The icemaker was extremely dirty, which we feel is what made us very sick. Extremely disappointed in Howard Johnson for the quality of this……

“Moldy shower curtains, faucet never stopped, the building smelled of smoke everywhere. But I will say the front desk staff was very nice.”

“The room was clean and well stocked, There breakfast was very good and coffee. The only thing missing was the air vent in the room didn’t work for bathroom. Over all a great place to stay”

“Such a cool hotel which was perfect for our trip to Chattanooga. The staffing was awesome the views from our room were amazing. It was walkable to pretty much everything we needed and we only had to take a couple of short drives.”

“Pros: Pool was well maintained. Ascetically, the property is beautiful. Rooms were clean. Some staff was outgoing. Cons: No top sheet under the comforter. Charged for minibar items not consumed. Traincar not open during the afternoon anymore, then the area was used for a wedding cocktail hour so we were unsure about access to happy hour and for purchases. On Sunday morning, the pool gates were not unlocked for access at 7 am as posted. Expedia Silver perk of 2 beverages which has been drinks……

“Great location. The hotel is an old-school style hotel that is well maintained. The rooms are basic, but clean. I did not use the pool area. The bar area is a nice touch for the evenings. They are going for a retro vibe, and do a good job pulling it off. It will remind you of the hotels/motels of the 1970’s/80’s because that is what it is. A great no-frills, clean, affordable option with a convenient downtown location. The staff was friendly and helpful to me. I would stay there again.”
