Lots of deer

Enjoyed sitting on the deck behind the cabin and watching deer and hummingbirds. Our only complaints were parking, which was mentioned in listing, and no place for hanging clothes. Also, getting the shower curtain between the clothes dryer and tub was a little challenging.

Ok place

The cabin was ok, a little dated but close to shopping. Outside patio area hasn’t been cleaned in a very long time. We were unable to use the area due to spider webs etc. Also needed to leave 2 days early due to my husband getting injured. Host did not refund any of money for those lost days.

Dirty kitchen

All the dishes were very dirty. We had to pre wash whatever we had to use. Thank goodness we had some plastic utensils because they were very disgusting. The kitchen sink was also very nasty!! They never mention the hills in the listing.

Very cute house in a nice location

The location was great and we enjoyed seeing all the animals around. The house was cute. When they say the parking is for one small vehicle, they mean it. We have a truck that was very difficult to get into and turn around. We would definitely visit this property again.

No problems, clean enough, we had everything we needed in kitchenware, towels, etc. Small space was not a problem at all, was very confortable for four of us two adults and two kids.

House is much smaller that pics elude , no closets in any rooms , don’t like living out of suitcase. Not really any extra blankets for couch sleepers, TV VERY SMALL Inside back door had evidence that water had penetrated inside. Drive way is very steep

Ruidoso stay

The property was as shown on the site. If you are visiting during snow you will definitely need chains or 4x4 as the road to the house is steep. Quick response from The Hummingbird team when we needed to modify our reservation.
