「Excellent check in by Matt, enabled us to check in early and took all our bags up to the room for us. Room was clean and comfortable and we couldn't hear any noise from the bar downstairs. Excellent location opposite the train station and all local amenities on the doorstop.
Unfortunately the live act that was on was singing IRA Support songs and when my partner objected and complained we were asked to leave the bar. The singer did admit that he was wrong and had caused us being told to leave」

The building is nice and historical. Many facilities for guests to use. I like the drinking water the most.
A bit difficult to find the entrance and the 199 steps to hostel is without light at night. It is a bit dangerous if you back to hostel late at night as you can't see the steps.
The breakfast is very tasty and many different choices to choose.」
「The Wilson Inn is a lovely pub and restaurant with really comfortable rooms and decor. We stayed for 2 nights and everything was so clean including the modern bathroom . Staff were friendly and meals were excellent including the breakfast. Only a couple of miles from Whitby and lots of other places of interest, including the North Yorkshire Moors steam railway and Goathland. Would definitely recommend.」
「Return visit like the area about 20-25 mins walk downhill to Whitby harbour area. Bus stop by school or Sainsburys minutes away.
Bedrooms clean and big for 2 people. Staff very friendly and helpful. Car parking free and if u forgot anything there is a sainsburys fee mins walk away
Breakfast has various choices to suit different appetite too and family friendly. Would return again」
