“位置就在海邊，可惜我們訂了海景房，但飯店有在施工，窗外都是鷹架很影響觀感，而且室內燈光太暗了。 但整體人員都很親切、服務很好。”

“Free parking in a smallish off road private parking area opposite. Check in was quick with very friendly and helpful staff. Room was a good size, clean, modern and with all the amenities you need. Breakfast was outstanding! All waitress served off a comprehensive menu in a well laid out dining room with attention to detail. The cooked breakfast was excellent and overall what you would expect from a very high end hotel really. I did not have dinner so cannot comment much on that except it was £30……

“There will be free ticket for whitby abbey. The building is nice and historical. Many facilities for guests to use. I like the drinking water the most. A bit difficult to find the entrance and the 199 steps to hostel is without light at night. It is a bit dangerous if you back to hostel late at night as you can't see the steps. The breakfast is very tasty and many different choices to choose.”

“Staff very helpful, amazing location so easy to get around various beauty spots. Park& Ride across the road. Access to Whitby so easy. Disabled visitors catered for. Staff decorated our room ( which was amazing) for my birthday. Lovely surprise.”

“Spa was amazing and so were the gardens. Some of the staff were kind and some others were very unhelpful and acted as though clients were a bother. Very difficult to get a taxi so best to have your own vehicle.”

“Wow, what an amazing place to stay in Whitby. Foxton Penthouse was central for us to have coastal walks and to walk into town. The apartment was very modern and had everything we needed to make our stay go well. Once in town you can cross the bridge and walk up the 199 steps to the Abbey. Or get the hop on hop off bus. The costumes of people dressed up in Gothic clothes added to our stay. ”

“Modern, well fitted out apartment. Great to have an indoor car park. Watching the steam trains from the window was a bonus. I'm guessing though that the radiators will be well used in the cooler months.”

“Found parking with ease. Access to house was via key safe. Front door a little stiff but fine. House was very comfy and well equipped. Although a toilet brush would have been preferred. On the surface was clean ish. Kitchen cupboard doors, doors and windows needed cleaning. Cobwebs everywhere! Towels and bedding was clean. Twin beds were tiny, not full size singles, so better suited for younger children. The biggest issue was the boiler. Heating was on when we arrarrived but soon the boiler went……

“Parking space very small to the point my husband had to climb over to the passenger side to exit the car. Rear entrance very grotty. Flat itself was ok and clean but small double bed lumpy and uncomfortable. Bedroom also very hot and stuffy. Good use of a small space though and well equipped ”
