“Absolutely lovely stay at this property. We were only there for 1 night but can't reccommend enough. Tea, coffee and biscuits were left in the kitchen for us. TV in the living room was smart TV and there was a TV in both bedrooms. Beds were a tiny bit springy but still comfortable. Shower downstairs is a bit dated but still useable. Incredibly clean though absolutely no complaints on that front. Property manager was in touch and easy to contact. Some might be confused by the parking situation……

“The room was spacious, spotless and had everything we needed, bathroom was also spotless and again had everything needed The staff are friendly and made us feel welcomed from arrival. The only thing that could be made better would be an addition of a full drench shower because there was certainly room for one”

“Breakfast was excellent with multiple choices, hotel was well decorated and beautifully decorated throughout would 100% recommend this hotel .”

“Small B&B which is in a quiet area, but just of main routes so easy to find. There is sufficient off-street parking for guests which is a plus. Breakfast offers a good choice for all tastes and the breakfast room, at the side of the property affords sea views which adds to the pleasant feel of what is obviously a well run B&B. The room had a comfortable double bed, ensuit bathroom and provided with tea, coffee, bottled water and biscuits.I was met by the host on arrival and given a tour so I……

“Parking was difficult got parked 2nd day got parking ticket also apparently you must display on path side of your car ”

“There will be free ticket for whitby abbey. The building is nice and historical. Many facilities for guests to use. I like the drinking water the most. A bit difficult to find the entrance and the 199 steps to hostel is without light at night. It is a bit dangerous if you back to hostel late at night as you can't see the steps. The breakfast is very tasty and many different choices to choose.”

“This is a room in a pub. But our room was to a high standard and almost large enough to be a suite. Absolutely in the centre of Whitby. Breakfast was good and hearty too. Could do with more power sockets in the room, though.”

“Lovely stay at the Saltmoore. Food was great, breakfast was excellent. However didn't think the Spa was up to much. Quite small compared to similar I've been in. The staff were what made this place. Very friendly. The rooms were very clean and had a good standard.”

“The Nutshell is a lovely little place, perfect for a stay in Whitby. Great location close to the harbour and town centre. Very clean and everything you need, hob, oven and all crockery and utensils. Nice feel to the place, makes you feel like you’re at the seaside. Great communication with the owners. Would 100% stay again. I was there for a week and had a wonderful time.”
