"Hotel is looking fabulous, what a makeover it’s had. Can still smell the fresh paint upon entering. Had a room on the 2nd floor with a view of the abbey and the water, what a lovely sight to wake up to. Our meal at the fat badger was also excellent. Can’t fault it at all, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "

"This is a room in a pub. But our room was to a high standard and almost large enough to be a suite. Absolutely in the centre of Whitby. Breakfast was good and hearty too. Could do with more power sockets in the room, though."

From the moment I arrived, Zed and his team were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful, making me feel right at home. The breakfast was excellent — the area was perfectly stocked with plenty of choice, and the cooked food was prepared beautifully and presented wonderfully on the plate. Everything felt thoughtful and high quality. It’s easy to see why this hotel has won awards. The service, food, and location all come together to create a genuinely five-star experience.
