“The hotel staff was completely unhelpful. I let them know after night 1 of 3 that my toilet was running non stop and that it was a simple fix ( my toilets at home have a similar problem that requires a new flush valve gasket every 3ish years) and they did nothing about it and told me that the hotel was full and changing rooms was not an option. I didn’t see more than a dozen cars in the parking lot all weekend. On our last morning we went to the lobby to get breakfast at 8:40 (breakfast served……

“Staff was helpful and all keys worked on all doors which was a refreshing change from even fancy/expensive hotels. Breakfast was hot but, unfortunately, had the powdered eggs. They did have sausage and yogurt, though. The room was mostly clean. I am very picky about the cleanliness level of bathroom floors, so I am difficult to impress in that aspect. I'd give their's a 7/10. Not the worst but any means.”

“The room was musty smelling and everything felt damp. The carpeting was so filthy it was almost sticky feeling on your bare feet. Bathroom was clean but did not fill the toilet paper up. Left nearly empty rolls and no extras. It advertises a pool but there is no pool. The ice from the ice machine tasted terrible. Most of the front desk staff we encounter did not hardly speak or understand English. I do not recommend this place and we will not be staying there again. I would sleep in my car……

“The rooms were clean, the breakfast fine, the staff great. But the elevator was a little scary. You push the button and it may not move or you arrive at the wrong floor. I am claustraphobic and this bothered me. It had been inspected in April.”

“The place was great. Stayed here for a local family reunion. Would recommend. Desk Staff was very helpful when it came to check in, as I had an issue with my booking (my bad i booked the wrong month!). But she was very professional, understanding, and helpful to the situation. I was able to rebook, luckily they were not full to capacity. And I got a refund for the original booking a few days later. The breakfast selection was good. 24 hour coffee and hot chocolate station. Best cinnamon……

“The property was historic. Loved the charm. The bed was very nice and we slept well. Small town Indiana at its best. Sauerkraut balls at the Bier Garden were great and we enjoyed the live music. Thanks for a great weekend with no kids.”

“The staff were incredibly nice. They went above and beyond to connect with me and my kiddo. We were traveling solo and she even gave me tips for staying safe with not sharing my room number out loud at the front desk. Very sweet! The eggs l had were a little iffy smelling but I have chickens at home so maybe I’m just not used to store bought eggs so I stayed away from those but the blueberry waffles were delicious. I would definitely come back. Thanks!”
