「Superb」

「This is a beautifully situated old mill on a gentle stream with gorgeous grounds. Idyllic. Just outside Lymington but a short 8 minute drive into town or to the ferry. Dinner was good with excellent service. Nice room, comfy beds, good bathroom. We were there on the hottest day of the year so it was very hot in the room but a fan was provided which helped.」

「Never stay here in the summer! A lovely hotel with a great spa but sadly the staff were not interested. Our room (6) was boiling hot, far hotter than 2 other hotel rooms we have slept in over this May 26 heatwave. When we raised this at check in and explained that we would not be able to sleep in the room we were given a spare fan that simply moved the hot are around. 「I stayed here for one night with my daughter after a trip to Peppa Pig World, and I’m so glad I chose this hotel. It was absolutely wonderful. The staff were lovely, and there was so much to do. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools, played ping-pong, explored the grounds, and even went on the zip line. The most magical part was seeing the wild horses just a short walk away. Being right in the heart of the New Forest made it feel really special. My daughter also loved the piano man and...

「We really enjoyed our stay at the Walhampton Arms. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient with assisting in our requests. This is a great place to stay to experience the local town. You get the perks that come with staying in a hotel balanced with the “mom and pop” feel associated with B&Bs. We will be looking to stay at their sister locations for our next city break! 」
