"We had an amazing weekend at your beautiful lake home!!!"

"UNIQUE is the word for the Green Duck cottage. Besides the backyard splendor of Seneca Lake (with multiple decks and seating from which to reflect), and a front yard that offers a gorgeous vineyard view, especially at sunset, this spacious cottage has personality! Primary colors punch out of a well-stocked full kitchen. Whimsical and vibrant paintings and an eclectic mix of artworks showcase, perhaps, host Jonny’s own hand. And a smoker grill and the hot tub allow for special DIY deliciousness and relaxation. Oh, and don’t let the occasional train deter your choice to stay here. It lumbered by twice during our 3-day stay and was more exhilarating and cool than a bother. Private, yet so close to Watkins Glen and local waterfalls, super amazing ice cream, and vineyards and farms in every direction. Our favorite moment: sitting on the dock from late afternoon to sunset on a day when the lake was totally calm, watching gulls darting and diving to catch bugs, and taking in the changing clouds and light reflecting on the lake until it shimmered like mercury. It was truly awesome."

"Place was clean and check in was easy. Host was very responsive and helpful and there were a lot of suggestions for local places for us to browse through. Will definitely be looking to stay again next time we visit the Finger Lakes"

"We had a wonderful time at Dalton Lakeside. The property was clean and in a quiet location. The view over Lake Seneca was amazing. Communication with the host was timely; he was friendly and helpful when a smoke detector went off inadvertently. The property was dog friendly with covers on the sofas. At first we were concerned about getting our Suburban into the property, but once we maneuvered the underpass and a tree in the road, we did OK on subsequent drives in and out. A wonderful vacation property."

"No fault to the owners who were great but a brand new pipe burst behind the upstairs shower causing a major flood on the first floor. This happened after being charges 111.00 for a 2 hr. early entry when my wife needed to use the bathroom facilities. Fingerlake premier properties only wanted to comp us 60.00 to totally repack, move and unpack again. We were lucky the owners did a fast repair. Most likely will not use these people again."

"We completely enjoyed this property and location in general. We were there for a week and had never been to the Finger Lakes before. We loved being right on the lake. The house was well stocked. It was a nice location for us. We also felt access to most things we planned to do was perfect. "

"We were looking for a comfortable place to spend time while exploring around the Finger Lakes region - and this was just the place. The location allowed us to easily travel to various wineries, restaurants, and sites around the area. Nothing is walkable, but the drive was easy. We spent an entire afternoon/evening just hanging out on the front porch enjoying the clear sky, beautiful weather, and quiet neighborhood. Each room was equipped with an air conditioner, so we all slept comfortably. The kitchen was spacious, and we took advantage of the large table for sharing our morning coffee. We were greeted by a vase of fresh cut flowers and local cheese & wine. We had no issues with reserving, gaining access, or anything on site. It was a lovely stay, and we would recommend this property. "

"The location and house were ideal. We really enjoyed the comforts of home while staying there and the sunsets were spectacular. However, we were a little surprised by how hot it was inside the house for the first 4-6 hours there since the air conditioning had not been turned on prior to our arrival and it took a while to cool down. We also couldn’t use the oven on the first night there since the oven cleaner had been left on it. There were a few other minor issues that we had to have resolved as well. Fortunately , the support staff were very responsive, pleasant and helpful. "
