A disappointed group
This property was an absolute disgrace and one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. The listing grossly misrepresented the condition of the home, which was filthy, unsafe, and completely unfit for guests. Upon arrival, it was clear that no proper cleaning had been done. **There were no clean towels**, and the **bed linens in 3 out of 4 bedrooms were filthy**, with visible stains and hair that was not ours. **A used diaper was found underneath one of the beds**, and **crumbs were scattered on the dining table and leading up the stairs.** Trash from previous guests had been left behind, there was open food in the pantry and refrigerator, and to make matters worse, an **open liquor bottle** was in the cabinet, despite us having a minor with us. The kitchen was completely unusable due to **roach infestations** and bugs found in drawers. The barbecue grill was disgusting, covered in grime, and unusable. The **couch was stained and filthy**, making it impossible to relax. Maintenance was a disaster. A **bed frame in the master bedroom was broken** and was never fixed, despite notifying the host. One bedroom had **non-functional lights**, making it unusable at night, and **glass drawers in another room were chipped and broken**, posing a safety hazard. The host’s response was **dismissive, offensive, and negligent.** While they sent a cleaner, the cleaning was superficial and far from adequate for the condition of the property.
