We had originally parked here and the front desk told us to move the car because it was for staff and we told them that the sign says guests but he still made us move the car.

The location of the property was great. The one thing that I didn't like was. You have to park around the corner and walk to the hotel. Which is very inconvenient when you have luggage and other heavy belongings and you also have to pay to park daily.

From the start this hotel does really have anywhere to park for the check in process. The parking lot wasn't convenient at all. You had to walk up the street half a block then go to the parking lot about half a block. No easy access to parking lot. The attendant was overwhelmed because a few people showed up for chdkc in process. She had one badge to use for the parking lot. It was a nightmare to get out of the small section in front of the hotel to go park the car. Facility was old and dingy. Room was clamy and had an old smell to it. Then the hotel is put on lock down after 930pm. I will breve stay at this hotel again.

The staff person on entry was miserable and the check out guy was worse. They must hate their job. When I checked out, I asked where I should leave the card for parking and he was very dismissive and pointed towards the entry area. I tossed it from my car as I drove around to return it after he called and hurrassed me about not finding the card. I went back and got it from outside the entry where it landed. He continues to nag me to show him where I tossed it and called me a lier. I'm not sure who he is but he's ungrateful and rude. Disappointed

The refrigerator had black mold through the inside. We were not able to utilize it. One of the bath tubs was clogged of hair. Our key cards continously kept being deactived. The customer service was terrible, we called the day before and we were told we could com in early because they had plenty of available rooms opened. Well, after 13 hours or driving, the attendant was rude and stated nothing was avaliable to wait and call before areiving again. Definitely dont recommend this place.

Liked that it was centrally located to what we were doing. Dislike property cleanliness was bad I looked under the beds and there was trash and used sweet & low packages underneath and just dirty! To many homeless in the area and parking was on the other side of hotel. Need to make an entrance on back of building for guests.

Our stay at the Old Bexar County Jail- now Holiday Inn Express was great! Good service, except they were out of complimentary toothbrush, I forgot to pack one. The room was clean, but only had one small trash can in the restroom. You had to pay for parking, not many spaces available in the front, but there is a public lot behind the building that is also pay. Overall, it was a good stay, breakfast was good.
