The room was clean and definitely recently renovated. The beds were comfortable and staff was very friendly. The property was under renovation and once it’s done it will look great, but until then the hallway, stairs, and elevator are a little rundown. The water didn’t get hot but the front desk was very receptive to tell the maintenance.

Mattresses are super thin and somewhat uncomfortable. Parking is very scarce and the hallways are musty and super narrow/claustrophobic (same with the elevator). That being said the Staff are very polite and for the price point on Comic Con weekend it wasn't all that bad. Ultimately it'll get the job done but I wouldn't go in with high expectations as the photos are slightly misleading and probably dated.

Room was clean, but smelled of smoke and had a musty odor so we left the window open. Beds were really comfortable and room was decent condition. Hallways could use some freshening up. We could not use the elevator because someone had just vomited and instead used the stairway. Stairway had a strong urine smell all the way up to the third floor. Very close freeway access, but not noisy at all. Lots of parking spaces. Had a small fridge, but no microwave. Customer service is excellent and very quick if reservation is already made.

The room was clean, I will give it that. However the over all conditions of the place was awful. Hallways were filthy. Puke in the elevator that sat for a long time so that was unusable. Do not stay here! Nothing around. The bus that gets you to the trolleys doesn’t run on Sundays so you have to uber or walk to the trolley. Book at your own risk haha

Not a family friendly stay. Felt unsafe from the moment we walk in unfortunately it was too late to get another room somewhere else. Building was dirty and smelled a lot like cigarettes. All night long there was noice of people laughing and what seemed like a gathering as well as slamming of doors. Our room looked very old inside and mattress and bedding looked and felt dirty. Do not recommend this place at all.

A dump

The motel staff was friendly and efficient. The motel property is a dump.I rented a studio room in the second building. The door to enter this building was in the darkest part of under ground parking- garbage bags laying around and other debris. The door was broken and had no handle- so towels were shoved in door frame to prop it open.It did not always stay open. The hallways and elevator were dirty, with more garbage bags. The room i was given was fairly modern but the floor needed to be swept at least, if not mopped. The door latch was missing. The tv turned off or went to guide every 90 seconds. Luckily, i always check bed bugs, the sheets were clean, thankfully. I stayed one night instead of the planned 4 nights. I did not feel safe at all.

The room was clean, although the overall condition of the hotel areas are rough. Our room was basic - no coffee, no microwave. Needed a place to sleep that was close to everything (Mission Valley, Old Town, Downtown, etc.). I'd stay again if needed.

Stayed here a last year and the room was excellent, functioning, and clean. This time was complete opposite, room smelled like a smokers room, AC took a while to kick in, sink was clogged, and hallway smelled like toiletover flow if you know what I mean. I didn't expect it to be anything like this.

Totally outdated. Smelled terrible. I cancelled future reservations at this location. It was dirty, poorly maintained and just discusting.

It was fine. Not great, not the worst. It is the most economic in the area and it was a last minute booking so no complaints really. Toilet seat was loose and the fan in the bathroom didn’t work. It’s decent, that’s about it. Just go, sleep and leave. Not somewhere you want to spend days in, but decent.

Check in is quick but the property is wet and dirty. Pool water never cleaned from inside hallways, carpet has stains and looks like it hasnt been cleaned in years. Elevator is dirty and is sticky everywhere. The price for the room after experiencing this mess is not right at all. Price isn't worth it. Police hanging outside and tires slashing in daylight. Would not recommend.
