Loved the Place and the Peaceful Neighborhood!We had a great time and loved the place! It was clean, comfortable, and located in a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful neighborhood. There are a few small things that could be updated, but it was not a deal-breaker. The host was fantastic and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this rental!

Great spot, right by the beach with an amazing roof deck

We really loved this place. It was perfect for us and in an amazing location. Very close to the beach and all the fun things to do in mission bay. Only a 15 minute Uber to downtown! Highly recommend

Perfect family spot

I have 3 teenagers and a preteen. This was perfect for all of us. Everyone had their own space and it was just a few minutes walk to the beach!

Great location for a small group!

We had 3 adults and 3 kids and this was a great location for beach accessibility, good local restaurants and central location to downtown. Communication with Pedro was good when we had questions. Hope they do a thorough review of electronics, shampoo, etc as summer some to an end! Overall good experience

Great long weekend in OB

The property was just what we were looking for to get all of our friends together for a long weekend, the rooftop provided us a nice space to all hang out. The window in the bathroom was shattered and broken open when we moved in, which was not very welcoming for us. The chairs on the roof were also broken and somewhat hard to sit on due to some of the pieces breaking. The oven didn’t work very well to start off with, I tried to preheat it and it just didn’t preheat until I turned it off and then started it all over again. The property supplied beach towels which was helpful since we were two blocks from the ocean.

Close to the beach, nice view from the top. The parking inside the gate is very tight, but there is parking on the road. Kitchen is well equipped. The bathrooms are small and could have been cleaner. Lots of extra towels, not enough clean comforters. Overall the experience is just fine.

Fun, convenient space

This was such a cool place to stay. The design is unique and allows door people to have their own space as needed. Location is great because the beach is two blocks away and there are tons of restaurants and shops in a 15 minute walking radius. And parking!! Not having to drive around looking for parking after being out all day is a relief!To note, there are no outlets in the loft areas. This made it tricky for charging devices. There is also visible wear and tear on faucets, doors, and walls/ladders. Everything was fully functional, just not brand new looking. Definitely not a deal breaker for us, just something to keep in mind if you are particular about needing things to be pristine. Overall, the place is excellent and we can’t wait to go back!

Fun house in casual neighborhood

A very cool house... feels a bit like an adult treehouse... lots of stairs/ladders. Not appropriate for small children, elderly, or otherwise impaired. We grilled on the rooftop, which has a view of the ocean in the distance. Easy walk to casual restaurants & bars (mostly dive bars...it's Ocean Beach after all!). Parking is a bit challenging if you have more than 2 vehicles... 2 spots for the unit (head to toe) and parking on the street is hit or miss depending on the time of day. A very quick drive (5 min.) to Pacific Beach if you want to walk or bike the boardwalk.

Great San Diego stay

This was a great stay for a weekend in San Diego. It's very conveniently located for both beach access and local restaurants, and the house itself was cute and clean. There was one less bed than we originally anticipated, but that may have just been a misinterpretation of the amenities on our end. Would definitely stay here again!

Scandinavian Beach Bungalo

I cannot say enough good things about this place. When I arrived we went to the roof and looked out over the Pacific as the sun set, drinking champagne in a hammock and enjoying the fresh sea breeze. Downstairs, the condo is full of light, pristine and white, well appointed with Scandinavian furnishings and understated decor. What really stands out is an impossibly suspended loft that an architectural magician seems to have conjured from his imagination; children especially would be delighted by this extra sleeping space. On the subject of sleeping, the beds are so comfortable I slept in later than I have in years. I hated to leave and look forward to returning to this enchanting place!

Not quite what was expected.

Does not look as good as pictures show. Furniture and fixtures worn down. Neighborhood very noisy and congested and not quite what I think of when I think of beach town. We did not spend much time at the house or Ocean Beach. Living room does not have enough seating for family and the current couch is so uncomfortable - springs are very prominent. The rooftop terrace was very nice. Beds were comfortable - everyone had their own space. As the week went on, the place grew on me but it still was somewhat disappointing after reading all of the stellar reviews.

OB Container Home

This property looked super cool online, we especially like the roof top which unfortunately didn't get utilized on our trip because of weather. It was definitely cool getting to see how a container home was really configured though. Although the property was cool, I do think it would be more for a younger crowd since you do have to use ladders to access the loft rooms but even then that is still a little inconvenient no matter age as far as trying to get suitcases up and down since there is not too many options for storage otherwise. Bathrooms are VERY tiny and hard to maneuver in. All in all it was a very cool space and SUPER conveniently located, amazing location! But for a family of 6 (2adults, 1 child, 3 teenagers) it wasn't ideal for space and we personally wouldn't be interested in something like this in the future. We were supposed to have 2-3 more people join and im actually glad they didn't because of spacing and no other great option for another older person to sleep.

Great Location, Not Good For Toddlers, Beds?????

Very good location but it stops there. The pictures are very deceiving and I venture to guess several years old. The place is worn out and needs a big upgrade. Do not bring toddlers or infants. There is no way to block off the stars and let them roam around without fear of them falling down the stars. And there are a lot of very steep stars. Our 10-month-old was in our arms more than she was able to crawl around the floor. In reality, there is really only one bed. The 2 sofa beds are cheap, lumpy and you can feel the springs. The one in the living room is resting on one of the lets and it falls off when you move the sofe. The first loft bed is just a hunk of foam. There is only a place for 2 people to sit in the living room and that's the lumpy, springy sofa. The only staples in the kitchen are salt, olive oil, SW chipotle seasoning, whole bay leaves & bbq rub. No food storage items, no foil, no cling film, no baggies. If you are planning to stay more than a couple of nights, be prepared for a big grocery bill stocking up on staples/basics. The washing machine is moldy. There is a sign on it that says to leave the door open to avoid mold. Even the cleaning staff didn't pay attention to that because the door was closed when we checked in. The bathroom vanities and faucets are falling apart. With some attention to detail, basic maintenance, and new furniture (especially real beds), it could be a great place for families with older kids.

The location is great, a short walk to the beach. Plenty of beach and bathroom towels, the host is very quick to reply to messages, it was nice to have shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathrooms, a plus is the ability to park in a closed gate area, unfortunately the house was poorly equipped, only 2 hangers in the room amd one was broken, no full broom, just the end of the broom, not enough pots or pans to cook, missing handles and no mixing bowls, only one full roll of paper towels, the outside shower that we were asked to used when coming from the beach, was dirty, trash and full of sand on the drain area and the light didn't work. It seemed that nobody came to check the house to make sure it was ready, my experience is that renting a house Vs staying on a hotel is because it has all the necessities and looks like someone lives there, the kitchen table was dirty and sticky, im sorry that i couldn't leave a better review, once the host addresses those inconveniences the stay is complete.
