1. I did not realize that there was no elevator. Wifey has mobility problems. 2. The streetcars run right next to the hotel. They are pretty noisy. 3. The upstairs occupant keep moving heavy stuff all through the night. 4. The room had a standing fan and also a small space heater. They worked okay, but not what I normally expect in a hotel.

Not so bad for budget SF. But they let guests run wild with loud music and even louder motorcycles for a guest coming and going at 2:30-3:45 a.m. and revving a motor that sounds like thunder. Not a place I could recommend.

The room is comfortable, spacious, and clean. It has everything you need: a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee maker. It’s a 3-minute walk to the ocean. There’s a 7-Eleven nearby. But if you go to bed early and wake up late, this place isn’t for you, since the train won’t let you sleep—it’s very loud and runs every 10 minutes. Overall, the area is pretty boring unless you’re a surfer))

Property is clean, good location if you are planning on spending time at the beach. Great for couples that love to drink, and also single individuals. Only because there’s a tavern or bar downstairs and it gets loud and rowdy at night. Drunk people on the sidewalk ready to fight. Not great for family’s with children; it’s noisy at night because of the bar and also the rail or cable car is right in front of the hotel and it’s very loud at night; sounds like a space ship is landing lol But overall … if your looking for something affordable and just a bed to sleep , this place is for you.

Friendly staff, helpful, understanding, parking is nice and hidden in the back, very close and walking distance to ocean, room(s) was clean and and didn’t smell, wish they had a better fan system as they only have a small portable fan on the desk, aside from that, it’s very nice.

I booked this hotel based on location and online description. I arrived to a room that had windows duct taped shut and one window that was broken and unable to close fully. My room was directly above a street level bar and patrons were loud and smoking cigarettes. With the windows unable to close, the smoke was drifting into my room. The trolley goes by the hotel and literally shakes the building and is very loud. Not a great choice if you value a good night sleep.
