"Very clean room and exceptional staff (everyone spoke English which was extremely helpful to this non-Spanish speaking person). Really enjoyed the seating area on the balcony outside my room. The restaurant was very nice with a variety of options that were reasonably priced. The sparkling pool was clean and refreshing. "Upon arrival the staff greeted us with a very pleasant attitude and smile. They were great the entire stay. We went on an early morning tour to see the Resplendent Quetzal. Our tour guide was the best. He is very experienced and knows everything about the Quetzal. He has been working at Trogon for 15 years. The food was amazing and the scenery was top notch!!! We loved our time there."

"We staying in the hand-built rustic wood cabin in the middle of blackberries [Mora] in the woods. You need a 4 wheel drive to get down the very steep access road. We left our compact rental car at a house up at the road [for a modest fee] and walked down 2km. The cabin is down a steep forest path. Didn't see evidence of wifi. It's simple and wild. Will not suit everyone, but we greatly enjoyed it. "
