I reserved this amazing casa 6 months ahead, and I would recommend doing that, because it is a phenomenal find! The views from the windows look out over serene rolling hills of bright green vineyards that look like a picture postcard for Tuscany with San Gimignano clearly in the distance. The grounds include a huge, very clean pool (overlooking the same gorgeous view), an outside dining area with an arbor, table & chairs, and a porch with table/chairs.The kitchen is well-equipped. The beds are very comfortable. There is plenty of room to hang clothes and put things into drawers. The bathroom/shower are both very nice. We stayed there for two weeks and wanted to stay longer. The Host, Concetta lives adjacent to the casa, and that makes her very available for touring recommendations and encouragement about which medieval towns to visit and when the markets are scheduled.It is imperative to have a car, as the casa is somewhat isolated, yet easy to reach from the highway. We loved the small road that in 5 minutes brought us to this view and lovely home from the highway. It is also imperative to have GPS to navigate the roads and find the various towns.I would recommend keeping the windows closed especially at night, as mosquitos visited us if we kept everything open. Concetta had a type of diffuser to plug in the wall of the casa which helped a lot. Just ask her for it if you are interested. She was a lovely Host.jDon't miss out on this Tuscany gem!

Un endroit magnifique pour le décor extérieur avec les vignes, oliviers et la ville de San Gimignano au loin. Très paisible en regardant par la fenêtre et en prenant notre café sur le balcon. Très bonne communication avec Conceta et Paulo qui sont très réactifs à nos besoins. Très gentils. Il faut savoir qu’il s’agit d’un appartement à leur résidence. Endroit isolé par un petit chemin étroit. Mobilier un peu vieux mais fonctionnel. Je vous recommande cet endroit au décor enchanteur.

Folgende Kritikpunkte habe ich: Die Halterung der Duschbrause ist lose und die Hälfte der Glühbirnen am Kronleuchter sind kaputt. Auf unseren Hinweis hin wurde zumindest umgehend die Lampe auf der Kommode repariert, weil wir ansonsten kaum Licht in der Küche gehabt hätten. Drei Tage vor Abreise wollten wir den Ofen nutzen, bei zwei Programmen fliegt die Sicherung raus und der Strom ist weg. Dies konnte während des Aufenthaltes leider nicht mehr repariert werden.Hinweis: Die Fotos sind nicht ganz aktuell. Der Pool ist inzwischen eingezäunt und es sind deutlich mehr Liegen und Schirme vorhanden. Ebenso hat die Wohnung einen etwas größeren Kühlschrank als den Braunen auf den Fotos. Die Waschmaschine kann nur nach Einwurf von zwei 2 -Münzen bedient werden. Die Tigermücken sind leider eine große Plage, damit muss man sich irgendwie arrangieren. Ich war froh, dass die Fenster Fliegengitter hatten, auch wenn diese an einigen Stellen kaputt waren.Bezüglich der Sauberkeit war alles ok, der Badezimmerspiegel war jedoch schmierig und die Deko-Sachen auf dem Kamin waren staubig. Es wäre auch super gewesen, würde man vielleicht eine zweite Toilettenpapierrolle erhalten und diverse Kräuter in der Küche zum Kochen vorhanden sein.Das waren alles Kritikpunkte auf hohem Niveau. Der Pool war wirklich schön, und der Garten ebenso.Concetta war unglaublich lieb und hat uns eine schöne Tomate und noch Mandelkekse geschenkt. Wir empfehlen die Ferienwohnung auf jeden Fall weiter!

Fijne vakantie

Zeer goed gelegen, voortreffelijk zwembad, stil, dus goed geslapen.Zeer vriendelijke eigenaars die u helemaal gerust laten ook al wonen ze onderaan in het appartement.Het appartement zelf is aan vernieuwing toe, maar voor een vakantie ok.

Ein kleines Juwel nahe San Gimignano

Die Ferienwohnung mit sehr schönen Aussenanlage liegt wenige KM ausserhalb von San Gimignano.Leider gibt es keinen direkten Fussweg aber mit dem Auto ist man in 10 Minute auf dem Parkplatz.Der unverbaute Blick von den Zimmern und dem schönen Pool ist umwerfend.Der Empfang und di Betreung durch Congetta war sehr herzlich. Einzig die Ausstattung der FÈŴO mit Besteck und Geschirr könnte besser sein.

Wunderschön gelegen und super engagierte Vermieterin

Abseits vom Trubel und ca 3,5 km von San Gimignano entfernt liegt diese einmalige Ferienwohnung. Aus allen Fenstern und von der Terrasse ging unser Blick auf die Türme von San Gimignano. Die Lage ganz zentral in der Toskana ermöglicht viele Ausflüge. Nach San Gimignano kann man laufen und somit dort auch abends mal Essen gehen, wenn sich der größte Trubel gelegt hat. Die Vermieterin Concetta ist sehr bemüht und hat uns auch mit tollen Tipps für Ausflüge versorgt. Sie und ihr Mann Paolo sind wirklich super nett und hilfsbereit. Nicht zu vergessen, der Swimmingpool inmitten der schönen Landschaft, den man u.U. ganz für sich allein hat. Ganz klare Empfehlung für einen entspannten und erlebnisreichen Urlaub.

Un balcon sur San Gimignano

Une base idéale pour se balader en Toscane. Jolie maison dans un jardin avec des citronniers, des palmiers, des fleurs et un balcon pour prendre ces repas en profitant d’une vue magnifique sur les tours de S Giminiano, les vignes et les oliviers. Concetta est de bon conseil et parle plutôt bien français, ce qui nous a permis d'échanger avec elle et son mari. Se reposer au bord de la piscine est très agréable après une journée bien remplie.

Geweldig uitzicht en heerlijk zwembad

We hebben een geweldig verblijf van 7 nachten gehad. Goede uitvalsbasis om Toscane te verkennen. Het huisje biedt een adembenemend mooi uitzicht. Het zwembad is goed onderhouden en er staan fijne bedjes. We waren de enige huurders dus weten niet of het gehorig is. Wij hebben in ieder geval veel rust ervaren. De gastvrouw was enorm vriendelijk en altijd bereid te helpen. We hebben een tas vol biologische citroenen gehad en als afscheid nog heerlijke koekjes. Enige nadeel was voor ons het bed. Het matras was erg hard met een bult in het midden. Het liep aan een zijde ook wat schuim af. Wij zouden zeker terugkomen!

The property and surrounding area is beautiful and Concetta and her husband could not have been nicer! They transported us to and from the bus stop and were so very nice... we really appreciated all they did to make our stay so lovely! We’d definitely stay there again!!

What a view!

We absolutely loved this apartment. Concietta is a wonderful host and the view to San Gimignano is to die for! The apartment is not fancy, but has everything one need. Some people might miss a TV, but we didn't. We loved sitting on the patio, enjoying a glass of wine and listening to the birds! We will definitely be back!
