"We had double room. At first I was disappointed by the size, but it was brilliantly appointed and thought through. Small touches made it a joy to stay in. The hotel is privately owned and the owner takes a direct interest in the look and service. The rooms and public spaces are hung with modern art giving the spaces a special charm. The breakfast was outstanding."

"The hotel is very close to the main train station. It was perfect for coming into and leaving Bologna and our day trip too Modena. We stayed from Friday to Monday and just downstairs outside of the doors, there were a ton of food booths and live music that played at night. When I booked the hotel via Expedia, I accidentally booked for December when I was supposed to book for October. Expedia was giving me a hard time about changing it, but the hotel was very gracious and understanding and had no issues with me, changing it to the correct dates. The location was great and we were able to walk to the major sites that we needed to see in the city. "
