Lovely stay at this condo!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. Pam, the owner, was very communicative and checked in with us frequently to see how we were doing and even helped us find activities to do during our trip. We were comfortable with the accommodations, and we enjoyed using the pools on the property daily during our stay. I highly recommend hiring Elfer Hospitality (the housekeeping service for the property) to cook a meal for you and get a massage while you're at it! This was one the highlights of our trip!

perfect cabo getaway space

Excellent place and location

One of the top locations in San Jose del Cabo! Walking distance to the gym, shops, a few restaurants and bars. It's great that taxis sit just down the road also, as you can always grab one when needed. We will be back.

Lovely property, very quiet, the grounds are meticulously maintained, pool and palapa very convenient. So relaxing compared to the resorts a short distance away. Pam and Marcos are amazing to work with, Marcos goes above and beyond to make your stay the best.

Cabo weekend

This Condo was more than we expected the location was perfect , quite , safe , and relaxing . Walks to restaurants and shopping . 5 min drive to Zippers and the Rock , 30 minutes the the east cape perfect for long surf weekend . We did also take advantage of the personal chef recommendation and had the best dinner of the entire trip . Highly recommended. Pam and Greg were on call if needed .

Excellent choice

We would love to return. Fully equip kitchen, nice comfortable patio and great bedrooms and bathrooms. The only negative, which is relative ,and didn’t matter to us, is that the jacuzzi is real not hot and the pool is not heated......no worries on either if it is hot weather

Spacious and relaxing

We were happy we chose to stay in San Jose del Cabo instead of Cabo San Lucas. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of Cabo. I would highly recommend renting a car if you want to snorkel or see more of the towns. Driving was easy, the roads are well maintained and picturesque. We hadn't been to the area in 25 years and we couldn't get over how nice everything was. Pro tip- you can get a 75 minute massage for $20 on the beach in Cabo. AMAZING!!!! My daughters and I were in heaven!

Nice condo

We stayed here recently for a week. The check in process was very easy, they even provided quesadillas and fresh margaritas for us. The condo looks exactly like the pictures and had everything we needed. It was great having a washer and dryer so we went home with clean clothes. Pam was very easy to communicate with and prompt to reply to my questions.My only complaint is the pool is not heated and very cold and the hot tub was out of service for our stay.

Oasis in San Jose del Cabo. This is it!

HostLocationUnitBest Host ever! From the first inquiry, right through to the checkout, her response time, her going above and beyond, is a 10. You will leave, truly having made a friend. Nestled in between fairways of the golf course, gives you privacy and serenity. Perfect for any direction that you want to explore. The beach, Downtown, eateries, groceries are walkable, or an Uber for a few dollars. We are walkers but used Uber to bring our grocery haul back, and out to a restaurant, Los Tamarindos, about a 5 km partial dirt road drive. PS. You gotta eat there!Amazing unit! From the shower heads to the pillows, and everything in between, they have thought of everything to ensure you feel right at home. On the deck, the Webber (super clean) Barbq is sure to be a hit with the Grillers. The patio table to have your meals, the loungers for putting your feet up, relaxing with beverages in the morning, afternoons, evenings, got well used by us. The kitchen is well equipped. There is ample, comfortable seating indoors, as you can see from her pictures. The pools are great, one on each side of the complex.Pam provides excellent info prior to your trip. Their Choice of Eateries is a must read. Casa Don Rodrigo is a MUST GO fave, and we can see why.It was an absolute pleasure spending 14 spectacular days at Pam’s Place. We highly recommend. Pam is confident that their property will be everything you imagined and more. And it is! They nailed it! You will not be disappointed.

Perfect Location and Excellent Hosts

My sister and I just returned from a week long stay at this beautiful condo. We had excellent communication with Pam before our arrival. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Marcos who had arranged chef prepared snacks that we were able to enjoy with also supplied beverages--including a perfect Margarita. A wonderful way to start our holiday, especially after a long flight. The condo is in a great location, and within walking distance to Old Town, groceries and the beach. The pools were well maintained, with no issue over either noise or crowds--some days we had the pool to ourselves! Condo has all amenities for a perfect vacation. Fun to watch the golfers too from the patio. Highly recommended.

Excellent, quiet villa right next to the beaches and restaurants.

This villa is in a gated community, so it's safe and a very quiet area. Property manager and security staff are very helpful and fun people! Villa itself is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath, second floor villa. Everything is nice and clean. Living room opens up to a spacious terrace that overlooks a golf course. Beautiful décor. TV has US tv channels. Less than 5 minute walk will take you to area's many great restaurants and shops. 7 minutes to one of the best beaches in Cabo. La Comer (it's like Target) is 3 minute taxi ride away and you'll get everything you need from there. Some of the best golf courses in Cabo are 10-15 minutes from the villa. So, overall this is a great villa to enjoy everything Cabo has to offer. I will return, for sure!

Long weekend in San Jose del Cabo

Using VRBO outside the US is always concerning but Pam's property and her communications with us made everything easy and confident. The place is immaculate with an entire wall that opens to a golf course and beautiful views. 30 minutes to the airport -- she suggested and we used Cabo Routes with a stop at the grocery store. The Pescado Plaza is a 5 minute walk and has several great restaurants. The ride into San Jose was 10 minutes by an Uber that comes to the development. Within the condo, we had everything needed including cold water and beer -- we returned the pay forward. It's a bit of a walk to the beach, but there is a rolling carrier for supplied beach chairs and towels. Water is too rough to access but beach sand was nice. Strongly recommend Pam's place to anyone.

Amazing Family vacation!

Our family of four (wife, myself and two teenage girls) stayed the week of June 9th, 2018. The communication with Pam and Cesar from the beginning and throughout was extremely helpful in planning and enjoying our vacation. We rented a car at National and it was a quick 20-30 minute drive to the villa, which is seated perfectly next to one of the pools and overlooking a golf course. The villa had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. A five minute walk to the strip of restaurants, shops or the beach was very convenient. I would recommend renting a car to make it easier to explore around the area. Downtown is just minutes away by car and parking is easy to find. The girls loved the pools, the ocean, and the bargain shopping! My wife and I enjoyed just relaxing and spending time together with the girls. Afternoons were times for enjoying homemade guacamole and Pico on the patio. Evenings we liked to find a restaurant on beach. Our favorite was Casa Calavera. They have the best tacos I think I have ever had and quite a selection on Taco Tuesdays. Overall this villa was perfect in every way, from accommodations, amenities, quiet relaxing atmosphere, and close proximity to everything fun! There are so many things to do, we didn't get to them all, so we will be back in the future!

The condo was everything as advertised; clean and well appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great as it was an easy walk to resturants and shops but was just enough away from things that you could get away. It was also a comfortable walk to the ocean. Being located on a golf course kept the surroundings quiet which was what I was looking for on this trip. But not so quiet that you couldn't enjoy yourself. The condo's owner was great to work with. When my travel plans changed at the last minute she replied back to me via email and text promptly. This was a big plus because I knew there would not be any miscommunication. During this time the concierge also responded promptly making sure my changing travel plans where addressed and a driver was there to meet me at the airport as planned. I have rented on VRBO for years and have never been disappointed; this was the first time that my travel plans changed quickly and needed to stay in touch with an owner/property manager and it was a big comfort how well they all responded ...big plus when traveling out of the country. Thank you all for making my stay in San Jose Del Cabo great!

AMAZING! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK

Our family had an amazing time at Pam & Greg's condo. As parents with two kids under the age of 4 we were in desperate need of a RELAXING vacation. This condo was the perfect spot. You may question how relaxing a vacation with a toddler and a baby can be but let me tell you...The condo was appointed perfectly. Tons of nice comfy towels, everything was super clean and the kitchen was more than sufficiently stocked. I was able to make baby food in the brand new blender and store it in Pam's tupperware. The pool being right next door with beach-like entry was heaven for us and our girls. It was so easy to entertain two young kids in the pool. Very easy walking distance to restaurants, ice cream, mini mart at the plaza about 5 mins away. Walk to lovely downtown San Jose in about 15 minutes (very safe and easy sidewalk walking, we did it easily with a double stroller). Finally, it can't go without saying, Hugo's guacamole was AMAZING! He was also very helpful in arranging transportation to and from the airport for a very reasonable price (and with car seats). Honestly, I was hesitant to write this review because I want to keep this condo a special secret, but it was just so delightful that I want to support Pam & Greg. We will definitely be back!

Immaculate and Beautiful Property + Ideal location= Fantastic Vacation!

We had the honor of being one of the first guests of the new owners of this property. They certainly have not missed a thing, ensuring that their guests feel at home. This condo offers a top of the line stay. From the lush towels and bedding to the quality furnishings, pots and pans, etc. not a single item of comfort was overlooked. They even had a cooler, beach bag, and beach chairs available for our use! We have always stayed at all-inclusive resorts and we are so happy that we decided to venture out and that we stumbled upon this property. It allowed us to enjoy the comfort of a home environment and in addition experience the cuisine of Mexico at some of the amazing restaurants that San Jose offers. The location of this condo is second to none. It is steps away from the major resorts like Cabo Azul and the Grand Mayan. The beautiful beach (within a five minute walking distance) is serene and the absence of beach vendors was especially relaxing. We even got to see a mother turtle travel out of the ocean to lay her eggs on the beach. Our favorite thing each morning was relaxing on the spacious covered back patio drinking coffee while overlooking the beautiful green golf course and the exclusive homes that line the fairway. There is a beautiful beach entry pool at the bottom of the stairs to the condo and it was literally like having our own private pool. We were able to conveniently prepare lunch at the condo and bring it down the stairs to enjoy it poolside under the palapa. Our evenings were spent enjoying the various quality dining establishments that were in the immediate area at the Plaza del Pescador . We enjoyed live soft music while enjoying a glass of wine that was offered nightly by the quaint wine bistro at the Plaza. There was also a live band at the Rock and Brew also located in the Plaza. You are approximately a mile from downtown San Jose and close enough that we enjoyed walking to all of the shops. There are taxi’s readily available in close proximity to the condo both day and night as well. We will be back next year! Thanks Greg and Pam for allowing us to share your beautiful condo!

A Cool and Calm Casa in SJD

The condo (Pam – you must give it a name!) was a perfect base camp for all of our adventures in SJD / environs from Jan 21-28! We were a party of 2 couples all in their 60’s from Chicago. Early to rise, early to bed is our motto – the condo was very quiet and private. We rented an SUV at the airport (some haggling over the insurance which was a bit nerve racking), but glad we did! Driving is very easy – no different than the suburbs of Chicago. The vehicle allowed us to branch out, too – we went to Los Barillas and rented ATV’s for 3 hours – first time for the girls. What a gorgeous and captivating beach along the Sea of Cortez! After a fantastic brunch at The Tropicana Inn on Sunday (we still couldn’t believe the price - $45 for 4!), we headed to the marina. The guys drank their best margaritas of the week at T’s Beach Bar while we scoped out the fishing boat dock. I picked out my boat and negotiated a price with Jesus Elizondo – came back 2 days later and went deep sea fishing with Pablo onThe Reel Thing – on my 65th birthday! Pablo found the fish and we caught 4 mackerels and a grouper. It was the most awe inspiring and beautiful mornings of my life ( I cooked the grouper in the condo that night! ). We had down time in between our expeditions – pool area was great – soaked up the sun. Hung out on the patio. Watched old movies. Walking into town was easy and comfortable (took the bus back home one time – 12 pesos or .60 U.S.D). I must say that the food in old San Jose is much better than what you can find in the Pescador Mall near the condo. DO go to La Pesca (right hand side of main road going to old town) – I had the best fresh snapper, shrimp and tuna tacos after one of my solo walks along the estuary when the other three decided to check out San Lucas (disappointed at the tacos at Sammy Hagar’s). Walmart better than LaComer in our opinion. You can walk to La Comer though and take a taxi back to the condo – my suggestion if you don’t have a car. Habenaro’s is always good – service wonderful. The French Bakery was good for breakfast one morning. I loved the Gloria Jean’s latte my husband brought back for me each morning, too. (5 minute walk from condo). We had no negative experiences with anyone. Even the bartering turned out to be fun. This was our second time visiting and it's beginning to feel like home! We love SJD and her people. Relaxing Cabo

This is a perfect spot to chill. The lanai/living room is just perfect for reading, lounging, and just being in nice weather. The location of the unit vis a vis the pool can be a little loud when the pool is in use. There is a walk to get anywhere, but there is enough stuff nearby, and having been before we knew how to get around. Owner is more than helpful with lists of restaurants, things to do, how things work, transportation options.

Great Stay

We had a really great time staying at this property. It was clean, had all the essential items, and it was in a key location for us. It was spacious and comfortable. Wonderful!

We enjoyed a very relaxing 6 week stay at Pam’s villa. The location was great, just short walks to the beach and good restaurants. The pool area was terrific for sunbathing, and the deck off the villa was wonderful for relaxing in the shade. Pam was an excellent host and responded very quickly to any questions we had.

Perfect home away from home

Wonderful hospitality! Location, amenities, and overall ambiance was outstanding. San Jose Del Cabo was our favorite destination to Cabo San Lucas, and this property made our visit that much more enjoyable. The hosts were communicative, genuine, and experienced. Thumbs up all around! Thank you!
