“Its relatively new property. Staff is helpful. RO water refills are available for free in glass bottles. Manager helped us plan the itinerary and he and his front desk staff always remained eager to help us with permits, sight seeing, info on shopping, local cuisine and places to go. ”

“The hotels itself had a warm welcoming environment. It had a garden with rose species, and other flowers at the rear. It even a vegetable garden we enjoyed looking at. The rooms were spacious. The staff was friendly and the cook even made custom made food to our request. The owner of hotel was most accommodating and helped us plan our trips. “I had an incredible 4 day stay at Leh Stumpa. The establishment is run by a very caring and loving family. I was well taken care of for any needs I had right from accessories to arranging taxis and transportation. Despite so many food options nearby I exclusively stuck to their fresh delicious home made breakfast and dinner (even though my stay rate didn’t originally include those) which had new options daily. Please don’t let the (comparatively) low hotel rate mislead you - this is a top……

“Norbu the hotel GM was excellent. He personally made sure that the stay was comfortable and any of our needs were addressed. In fact, while embarrassing to state in a review, we ran out of cash and he lent us Rs. 5000/= going out of the way. That was a very trusting gesture on his part. Norbu also helped us get the visitor permit from the local DM’s office which helped us move forward with our trip. Lastly, he helped arrange for a SUV for the trip from Leh to Pangong to Nubra Valley. My only……
