Nice garden with a beautiful but old fashioned house

The house was nice but a bit old fashioned, the bathroom in the first floor had no shower, it should be fixed. The sink in the washroom ground floor was blocked. The fire place had no wood and the electrical heater was underpowered. Daytimes there was a lot of traffic noise…at night it was o.k. But it’s an ideal place for hiking. The garden was lovely.

comfortable country retreat near Funchal

Conveniently located for visiting Funchal and middle and eastern Madeira yet away from the hustle and bustle up in the hills and set in a natural environment. House was fine for 2 people using downstairs bedroom and bathroom - we didn't use the upstairs but it would have presented problems for tall people due to sloping ceilings. Facilities were as described - its not the most luxurious but facilities are complete and functional and pretty much as per the photos

Casita en paraje natural

Casita acogedora en un paraje natural increíble. Buena comunicación con Funchal y las carreteras principales de la isla. Dispone de todas las comodidades necesarias para pasar unos días increíbles en la isla. Camas muy cómodas y el silencio de la zona ayuda al descanso a pesar de estar cerca de una carretera. Lo único a mejorar son los cuartos de baño. Volvería a esta casa
