Property is perfect but Vacasa and La Dolce Vita are awful
The unit is beautifully decorated, perfect location, clean with a great view and amenities. All of the issues were with the property management company that included beach chair service/bike rental company, La Dolce Vita.
A few days before check-in we realized Vacasa had not sent us the wristband waiver form to complete. Wristbands are required to access the pool and beach from the condo. I emailed and received the same runaround of no one knowing how to send me the waiver. I finally received it A WEEK later, AFTER we had checked out when we were already back home.
We couldn’t find our rental bikes (provided with the unit) and the onsite Vacasa rep told us to go ask “Brennan in the beach chair hut.” Brennan, who did not even look up at us, told us “I don’t do bikes.” Okay. So since he was at the beach chair set up “hut” we asked him if we could reserve chairs for the next day. He said “No.” we found out later it’s first come, first serve. Brennan is an arrogant jerk that shouldn’t have his job.
He was equally as rude to others we knew staying in another unit at the property. We watched him kick a woman out of her chair at 4:50 pm because he was ready to be done for the day.
Again, the unit is impeccable, but Vacasa and La Dolce Vita made it extremely difficult to have a relaxing vacation. This condo is too amazing to let a terrible property management company ruin it.
