「This was a beautiful unit a short drive from San Jose. The host offered us food and breakfast and messaged to check in if we were comfortable. We saw so many birds in the morning and evening. The pictures on the website don’t do justice to the amazing property. 」

「It was very old school.and it was not what I expected. Quite a unique experience because it is so remote. No regrets, you mighr want a 4 wheel drive. I was treated like a VIP.」

「We arrived at around 2am on an Orange taxi from the airport (about 5-10 minutes and $10us) Taxi driver did not want to wait for us to be let inside. Rang the bell twice and after 1-2 minutes staff opened the door, greeted us and showed us the room. 「Room was basic, clean and old world charming. Ac was extra $10 bc we didn’t book it, but weather and window did not require it. Best hotel breakfast we had in all of Costa Rica. Alejandra was so kind and professional. Safe parking as well. 」

「This was a really well kitted out apartment. Probably the best we have stayed in in 4 weeks of being in Costa Rica. The owners have thought of everything. Nothing was missing from the well stocked kitchen. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked lovely. I'd highly recommend this place. There's a great restaurant on the corner called Chepes Bar and I'd highly recommend doing the Crocodile Man tour」

「I loved the room, the breakfast, the pool, the grounds (there were wonderful paths leading to nearby goats that you could see on a neighboring property). There was a sauna and a hot tub but neither was on. There was a sign for yoga but I didn't see any yoga session.」

「We flew in to San Jose around 12pm. We headed out of town towards La Fortuna. I thought this would get us out of the city and close to our first day of activities. The area was quiet. The room was very clean. We speak very little Spanish and the staff spoke very little English. However we were able to communicate to get what we needed. The hotel is one block from the Main Street. We found the supermarket with ease. The breakfast was wonderful. Fresh fruit with a large breakfast of beans...

「The views are gorgeous, the room comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. If you have sensitive skin be cautious with the hot tub, I reacted to something in the water, but that's not unusual for me, and my husband was fine. A rinse off in the room and some login, and I was fine the next morning.」
