「A very pleasing stay the only downside was the 4 flight's of stairs to get to the room. The toilet seat was loose and a few things in the rooms needing improving like the kitchen lino that wasn't laid properly but above all a nice hotel with great views of Douglas Harbour.」

Near bus stop and promenade, also walkable distance to main streets and dock. To nitpick, there’s creaky sound walking on the wooden floor.」

「We were very comfortable in the beautiful apartment which had stunning views. We were well looked after. However, we left very early in the morning and couldn’t work out how to get hot water out of the shower! If it had been at a more respectable time, we would have asked for help, but it was far too early to summon anyone. Clear instructions would have helped in this situation. Overall we were very pleased with our short stay. 」

「An absolute gem, staff in all areas were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The chef is topnotch and produces an excellent range of dinner choices. Would wholeheartedly recommend the hotel. Great local beer. Handy cinema just across the road. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit to the Isle of Man.」

「Whether for a staycation (as we used it), or for a base to retreat to when visiting the island, this was a great experience. Breakfast was good, especially the pancake making machine, and a nice spot to sit in even on a rainy day. The rooms are quite big and the place is easy to navigate. We used the SPA and after figuring out how to turn the jacuzzi on, was a good addition to the day. Staff on reception very helpful and seem very willing to aid in questions about other areas of the hotel...

「Great location. Parking space on car park to the rear. Spotlessly clean. William the receptionist / caretaker was excellent. Has everything you need. However, it sells itself as a luxury apartment and it doesn’t live up to it. Eg. In the bedroom there is only one bedside table and lamp. On one corner of the bed there is only six inches in which to get past. The wardrobe is not great quality and the sliding door comes of it’s rail easily. ( can also be put back easily but.. ) in the living...

「A very clean, spacious apartment centrally placed in the town, with free private parking directly outside the block in a large enclosed courtyard. Excellent value for money and would certainly recommend. 」

Our room was located across the street in a different building but only couple of seconds walk from the main building and person at check in desk walked us over to show us where it is. Very helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. Had a choice of English Brekfast or Vegetarian, cereals etc」

「The hotel was old but on the whole well kept, but our room was small the window was frosted over so no view and only open a couple of inches. The bed was a very small double bed. On the plus side the staff were excellent and friendly. The food was wonderful, cooked to perfection.」
