プライベートビーチのある地元、コンドミニアム併設のホテル
エクスペディアの予約はとれているが、代金が未払いだとして、チェックインの時点でまずは、宿泊料金を払えと言われてすったもんだ２時間余り。予約のペーパーを提示しても、こちらでは代金を受け取っていないから証拠にならないの一点張り。エクスペディアへ確認してほしいと言うと、代理店のことは知らない、自分で連絡しろとのこと。やむなく、自分の携帯電話から、現地から日本のエクスペディアのコールセンターへ電話をし、担当者の方に事情を説明したところ、ホテル側の予約確認システムのトラブルと判明したが、フロントの女性従業員は、関係ないからまずカードで支払ってくれなければ、チェックインできない、と大騒ぎ。エクスペディアの担当者がホテルへ連絡してくれたセールスマネージャーに確認してくれ、というと彼は日本語はもちろん、英語も話せないから応対しない、と言い、逃げ回り、しばらくして別の女性従業員が、やっとルームキーを出してきてチェックインしたという、前代未聞のホテルでしたやが対応してくれなければ、当日は別にホテルを探すことになったと思う。ホテルの施設には特に不満もなく、ルームキーピングの人はフレンドリーGOOD、チェックインのトラブルさえなければ、大きな問題はないが、最初の印象がVERY BAD。

Extra good, very close to beach & eatery shops!
Wife & I, both 65, simply surprised ourselves with just how good the hotel we chose. If the meals were too costly, simple walk to many cheaper meals in short time. Beach very good with plenty of covered eateries. Very happy, came from Australia.
