There was construction right beside us that we weren’t notified about and it resulted in a lot of excessive noise and no privacy. While the owners agreed to a small refund, it had a big impact on our vacation. We chose this place with the expectation that we’d be able to relax and enjoy the outdoor space and the lack of privacy and noise didn’t make this possible. We have previously rented from places not managed by a property management company and that will be something we’ll look for moving forward as the experience is way more personalized. There was very little instruction leading up to our stay which also resulted in issues with the lockbox and getting into the house which is the last thing you need after a long travel day.
