Pura Vida of Coco Bay

An elegant mountainside condo with expansive ocean views from every room. Split plan layout is perfect for three couples or families travelling together.

The three spacious bedrooms are at each end of this elegant condo, separated by the open plan gourmet kitchen, dining and living room. The three ensuite bathrooms are enormous with luxurious designer finishes, big separate showers, & double sinks. Master Bedroom has one queen bed & a Jacuzzi bath. Second bedroom is is furnished with a Queen bed and the 3rd bedroom has two 3/4 beds.

The dream kitchen has all your wish list features, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, etc This beautifully furnished condo also has a full width balcony for BBQing, lounging, enjoying the spectacular ocean views.

Just steps away from your luxurious condo is a brand new multi-level pool with commanding views of the surrounding valleys and countryside.
The property is equipped with 24-hour security and guarded overnight parking.
It is conveniently located near Ocotal Beach and Playa Del Coco where you will enjoy clear seas and sand beaches, sailing, boating and snorkeling, boutiques, and many restaurants and bars serving local and international fare. Hiking, bird watching, sailing, deep sea fishing , boating and snorkeling adventures are all nearby.

This condo is placed on a hillside overlooking the Gulf de Papagayo. A car rental is recommended. We are located 4 min driving distance to the beaches, not walking.

Property is well maintained, no issued with water or electricity, the property manager warned us of a planned outage but we were not affected as we went to the beach that day. Highly highly recommend.

The place is bigger and more lovely than the photos. The view from the balcony is stunning. We spent a lot of time out there. Every spacious bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped making it a pleasure to cook in. There is even a blender for making our own drinks out of the delicious fruit. Corby was responsive and kind. The pool is gorgeous. We were very comfortable there with our family of 5, including 3 young adults.

Excellent stay and accurate to photos. Corby was a great host, met us in town to escort us to the condo, as it is a tad confusing, especially in the dark. Kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked with supplies. View is incredible! Would definitely stay again!

Great view and location

The view was the high point. It's beautiful sitting on the oversize deck looking out at Coco Bay.The amenities were excellent and every bedroom had a deck and great view as well. There is a pool across the parking lot and another huge one with a swim up bar and good restaurant down below. The nice beach is 4 minute drive away.The building is up a really steep hill so walking the property would be extremely difficult. The real issue was the water went out part of one day and the electric two half days. They are also building houses below so there is noise from that construction.Lots of really good local places to eat and hangout in the small village.

Friends had a wonderful time

The condo is beautiful and the view is spectacular. Online accuracy only got 3 stars because the description on VRBO said it was an 8 minute walk to the beach. VRBO had added as the crow flys and the walk was actually 30 min walk, down a very steep hill etc. The beach club was at the bottom of the hill. The beachclub was spectacular with a beautiful pool surrounded by palm trees, a gym, a restaurant and a swim up bar, as well as pickleball and tennis courts. Now the walk back up the hill was a killer. I am 60 obese woman and had to stop a couple of times to get back to the condo. I had read the reviews that spoke of the hill being not for the faint of heart, but didn't know what we were getting into. The hill is very steep. So steep that golf carts are not allowed on it. If you stay at this condo, I would recommend you get a car rental. Car rentals are expensive in Costa Rica. We ended up renting from Alamo downtown Coco and the price was better than what we could have done on line. Corby the property manager was really responsive to all of our questions.I should also mention that our water did go off several times during our stay. In fact it was off for all most 24 hours before we checked out and therefore left lots of dirty dishes that we could not get done. We did learn to have a pail or two of water to flush toilets.

Coco Beach stay

We enjoyed the space for 6, an amazing view and well equipped condo. Some issues arose that were unexpected and not to be held against the condo owner. The water did not work for 3 days and an AC unit stopped working creating a warm sleeping arrangement. . warwasleeping.arrangement.

Not honest about location, Korby was rude and unhelpful

upon arrival we were not impressed by the location, the pictures indicate a higher view but it boasts on your website and VRBO that the beach is an 8 min walk. There is nothing in walking distance. we were only advised the day before arrival we need a car, never states this on the booking page with VRBO.we tried to work with Korby in destination which ended up poorly for us. she seemed to not really care that we had prof of the documents stating an 8 min walk. we called VRBO and they stated google maps is at fault. We asked for a car rental and she could not help us, she could only drop off one person at a store for groceries but not wait. needless to say the cab got lost using the pin we got from google maps :( we left Korby messages to move properties or try to work out another location and NO REPLY Short story, we left the next day. left keys on the counter, called our travel agent and she moved us right away to a beach front location in town. sorry but just because the property is beautiful and clean does not mean misleading information is ok. FYI not only are you miles from a beach you really do need a car for anything. Not an issue if we were advised properly that the views are so high up you are miles from the beach.

Beautiful View and Extremely Comfortable!

We had 6 adults stay in this beautiful condo and we had plenty of room. Corby and Alex were very helpful and responsive. Short drive to two beaches, stores, and activities. Everyone enjoyed their stay. We would definitely book again! View was spectacular!!

Wonderful time at Pura Vida

We had a great family vacation here over the holidays in December. The local beach, restaurants and grocery stores were a short drive away and it was a good location to have as a home base from which to take day trips along the coast. The condo was perfect for the 6 of us as we were 3 couples. Everyone had a room with ensuite, the kitchen, living room and dining area comfortable for all. The place is very well stocked. We particularly enjoyed the large balcony where we often had breakfast and gathered at the end of the day to relax before dinner. It was also nice to have access to the pool and fitness complex. The condo is high on a hill so the views are wonderful but a car is really necessary. Corby from the property mgt company was very helpful and easy to contact.

Breathtaking views!

We have been fortunate to travel the world and this condo stands out! There are stunning views from all 3 bedrooms as well as the living room and kitchen. It’s quite large for a condo. The veranda is also very large and offers shade at all times of the day. Kitchen is well stocked and fairly large. The community is clean and very safe feeling. The access road is very steep and not for the faint of heart but it is paved . You definitely need a car. Corby the rental agent is VERY responsive. About 5-10 minutes away is the village of Playa Del Coco. There are many good restaurants including our favorite Playa Cafe for lunch or dinner. It is a bit pricey, but right on the beach with great service and atmosphere. We highly recommend this place! The views are much better than the pictures on the website. Massive BLUE OCEAN VIEWS !

Really Nice Condo

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo in Coco. Beautifully appointed, lots of space. Would be great for 3 couples. Bedrooms were very nice and the bathrooms were nice as well. The decor was beautiful, kitchen was a perfect size for a vacation. Lots of beach towels. We stayed for a week. Our favorite part and where we hung out most, was the main balcony. Every bedroom had access to a balcony. Two bedrooms had private balconies, really nice. It's up some steep inclines but you can't get a view like that from below so if you are looking for a perfect view, it's worth the incline. And lots of places in CR are hilly with includes. We did have a 4WD but I am sure you can get up without one. As another reviewer mentioned, laundry was nice to have and it does have an elevator so easy to get your luggage up. The Clubhouse has a nice pool and the restaurant's food was delicious. Not a kilometer down are all kinds of cool finds including clothing and souvenir shops, good restaurants, a large supermarket, and the beach. Our favorite places to eat: Il Gusto Della Vita, Guayoyo Coffee House, The Look Out, and Numu Taproom and Bistro. Highly recommended. Really enjoyed it.

Very spacious

The rental was as described. It was very spacious for our family of 5 and had a beautiful view of Playas del Coco beach. The kitchen was well equipped for home cooked meals. I was happy to learn there was a washer and dryer inside the condo. The rental is on a hillside in a gated community so a car rental was a must. The furniture is a little dated and there were ants on the floor but I assumed that’s a normal problem for anywhere you stay. I didn’t give 5 stars for cleanliness only because of the ants, dated rugs and several throw pillows. The beds and showers were very clean. Overall, our stay was very comfortable and we really loved the balcony & view.

Very pleased

I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the condo! The space was great for a family and having the laundry room was awesome. The view is gorgeous also. Very quiet place for families like ours with young children and located very close to everything!
