“The service was great. We parked at the parking lot recommended by the hotel, and there was a free shuttle that took us to the hotel. We stayed in a separate room, which had a bit of a damp smell. The room was about a 5-minute walk from the reception and the breakfast/spa area — it took a few time to remember the route. But getting lost in Matera is also a kind of romance.”

“All the things were great, except that the check out arrangement were terrible. The staff supposed to arrange a shuttle bus for us to go back the car park. However, the staff didn't tell us and did not answer the phone, when the shuttle is arrived. So we missed the shuttle and the outside temperature is over 35 degree , so we have to find our way back to the car park.”

“I really liked that there was everything you could need to be comfortable. You can tell there is someone considerate behind the administration. There was abundant drinking water, teas and coffee, water boiler, cups, etc in the common area. In the bathroom, shower cap, soap, and other amenities, enough towels for all the guests (this is not always the case). The family room was great with two rooms and ac in each one. Wifi worked well and the owner is super nice. Breakfast was simple but……

La chambre se trouve dans un sassi avec une belle vue depuis la chambre. L'endroit est egalement entouré de restaurants donc facile pour les options de repas. Le petit déjeuner a un grand choix de produits différents et de qualité. Un vrai régal pour bien commencer la journée. En conclusion, un charme total à l'italienne. ”

“It's the best hotel for me. The owner of the hotel is very nice and enthusiastic. Although they don't speak English very well, they helped us a lot with our heavy luggage.
