Loved the location of the property from being close to the river district and downtown eateries. Property was large, stylish in the older style. I would choose a rental property next time with less steps.

Perfect location for a stay in Savannah

Charming and convenient!

We loved our stay in this immaculately clean and thoughtfully appointed apartment. The location could not be better - we were within walking distance to everything we wanted to visit. Having a parking pass included was definitely a money-saving bonus. Note: this apartment requires climbing 2 sets of stairs to enter, so it may not be feasible for those with mobility issues.

Great spot for a long weekend

We traveled to Savannah for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We’ve been to Savannah many times before and stayed closer to River Street, but we really enjoyed the York Street location. It’s so close to great food, entertainment, beautiful historic buildings. The sirens from the nearby fire station were quite loud and frequent throughout the night, however, so bring earplugs!

LOCATION!

Wonderful place to stay. Had everything we needed for three days in Savannah. The location can’t be beat. We walked to everything we wanted to see and do. The bed was very comfortable. I have a bad back so that’s important to me. It was so roomy too. Zero complaints. I look forward to staying there again.

Southern Comfort

Very nice accommodations in a great location close to all restaurants and attractions. Able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Savannah in under 10 minutes. Savannah was beautiful to stroll through the parks, along the river, and through city market. The only downside to our location was along Drayton Street, which is a heavily traffic street and somewhat loud at night.

This is a perfect location close to everything down town, City Market, River Street are just a couple blocks away. This rental is spacious and clean and so much better than a hotel. The parking garage is much closer than I had anticipated and the parking pass made life so much easier. Loved it.

The location was convenient to the historic district and the attractions. Most places were within walking distance of less than 15 minutes. The condo was very clean and well appointed. The furnishings are comfortable, clean and in great condition. The parking being limited in this area of the city. Was a very convenient and at a parking garage just a block away included with the rental. The rental agency was very helpful and a joy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to visit the city. Overall I would give my experience with property and it's management high marks.

Nice apartment close to everything!!

We stayed for a weekend in this little apartment. It is an amazing location! Can’t beat it for the price. You can walk to river street, city market and all the little squares around. It’s amazing. The only “con” would be how much you can hear on the streets, people talking and sirens going past but honestly it’s just an older building, what do you expect? lol if that bothers you, this isn’t for you but if you can work past it, it’s an amazing place and you won’t be disappointed! The host was very quick to respond and the locks for the doors were so easy and straightforward to figure out. Comfy bed, large bathroom, well stocked kitchen. Definitely recommend this apartment!!

Great location, but be prepared for noise

We enjoyed the cute rental property. It’s really spacious and the king bed was comfortable. The pull out bed was uncomfortable and you can really feel the bar. It’s a convenient location, but VERY noisy. Drayton is a busy street with traffic (loud music, cars backfiring or loud mufflers and sirens all night long). The loud beeping of the 5am garbage trucks felt like they were in the living room. The AC is touchy and really cold, The windows don’t open, so no fresh air. Overall, cute and good location. I’d recommend to bringing earplugs for sleeping and k-cups for coffee (not provided).

100% Stay Here!!

Many of the reviews talk above how great this location is. It is absolutely true! It's less than a 3 minute walk from Broughton Street, 5 minute walk from City Market, and 8 minutes from River Street. Literally everything is within walking distance! But, those things arent the best park about staying here. The parking pass for the parking garage is awesome! Most of the hotels charge $45 per night for parking. So, the free parking included in this stay can literally save hundreds of dollars. As for street noises at night, we heard multiple sirens and motorcycles, but our 6 month old baby never woke up due to the sounds. We heard them, but were not bothered by them, norndid they keep us awake. So, for us, the noise was not bothersome. Overall, I 100% recommend you stay here. Youll love it. I promise

Good and Bad

The property is on a fairly busy street. The numerical lock to enter the property was loose, which I tightened so it would not fall off the door. There are no lamps in the main living area with only harsh overhead lighting to illuminate the tv and dining space. There is a parking pass for a garage that is across the busy one way street next to the property. Having a pass is helpful, but it was difficult to unload luggage from the garage, where the only parking was on the upper, 6th level, and navigate to the apartment. The property is in a great location as far as walking distance to all the things available in downtown. Also, I called the management office the morning after arriving with an important inquiry and never received a call back. That was on a Friday, and not the weekend.

Amazing location!

Absolutely loved this place, seemed way bigger than the photos online and was in a prime walking location. The parking garage is a 2 minute walk which was also key. Would absolutely stay here again.

There is central air and they had an additional room air conditioner to assist with keeping the place cool. The rental company was responsive. The parking was in a structure just a block away and was super easy to navigate. By virtue of this being a very old building, you could hear everything going on outside. If you are someone who is a light sleeper, I would recommend bringing ear plugs as you will hear every person and vehicle passing by. Overall, it worked well for our needs.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really liked the condo and we’re thankful for free parking and a great location. It was very clean and we loved having a washer and dryer. We had concerns about a few of the accommodations and would make the following suggestions. There was only a ceiling light in the living room. Adding a few lamps would make the space more comfortable for reading or watching tv. Only one kitchen dishtowel was provided and the toaster was not working properly. There were sheets but only one coverlet and two pillows available for sleeping on the pullout sofa and pull out love seat. More bedding is needed to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. The stairs getting into the building and then to the second floor we’re a bit challenging with luggage.

A relaxing retreat to celebrate 40 years of matrimony

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After much research, consultation and deliberation we decided that Savannah would be our destination to celebrate our 40th anniversary. In order to keep some of the costs down and a reasonable budget established, we chose to stay within walking distance. With two full days in Savannah we hoped to see as much as possible without being overwhelmed and exhausted. The location of this apartment was perfect. While some may not find this trip to be luxurious or exotic, we thouroughly enjoyed Savannah and all the southern charm. This apartment added to the experience with it's location and atmosphere. It was comfortable. Although we didn't use the parking accomodations, it was nice to know that parking was easily accessible. I will have to say that it was tidy. However, on the last day of our visit, an earring was dropped, and when on the floor looking under the bed, a cookie was found. My first thought, if there is a cookie under the bed (but not earring) that housekeeping missed, what else did they miss? Overall, our trip was pleasant, and the accomodations met our expectations. Again, the convenience of being able to walk to all of our destinations was a big plus. The charm of the creaky floors made our stay feel comfortable and humble, something a big corporate hotel cannot offer. Thank you for offering your property, we have recommended you to our friends and family. Who knows, if we come to Savannah again, maybe this property will again be available, until then..
