Our 2nd time at this beautiful farmhouse. Setup is great for big families - lots of room and plenty of beds. The property is well kept and peaceful. Highly recommend.

Fantastic!

This is by far the best family rental we've ever stayed at! The house was impeccable and designed perfectly so that we never felt crowded. The game barn outside is where we spent a lot of our time. It was a great place for kids, teens, and adults alike! We also loved looking at the cows!!! If you're looking for a peaceful family getaway, look no further!

Great wknd get away in a he country

Great house very well appointed. Pretty setting. Great location for exploring Schulenburg, Halletsville, shiner. Great party barn for kids of all ages. Will stay here again.

Breathtaking and Beautiful

The place was beautiful and breathtaking. Conveniently located and lots of privacy. Inside the space was utilized well and tastefully decorated. Very clean and organized. Enjoyed our stay and not to mentionRoxanne (the owner) was very accommodating. Will definitely visit again.

Peaceful getaway

Great experience relaxing and connecting with nature and family. The owner is really accommodating and we enjoyed staying for the second time. The property is very conveniently located off I -10, grocery store and restaurants are close by. The Market in Flatonia has everything you need so makes it easy to purchase goods for any occasion. We will definitely be back to relax and enjoy with family.

Wonderful!

This house was great! Two families stayed (6 kids ages 4-10) and there was plenty of room! Everything was perfect. We booked last minute and the house was ready to go. The property was perfect for our kids and we enjoyed the fire pit/games in the barn at night. Highly recommended!

2nd year as good as the first

Very nice property, well arranged. Peaceful country setting, nice to be out of the city. Only two slight problems: 1) some road noise from I-10 about 1/2 mile away, and 2) wish there was a little more wildlife. But we will be back again next year.

I’d pay double for this place!

This place was perfect for our family attending a nearby wedding. It comfortably sleep everyone. Very clean and cute (decorated for Christmas!). Nice porch, fire pit, pastures. Even a barn with ping pong, dominoes, corn hole and more that we weren’t expecting! Will definitely stay again if we have the opportunity.

Strengthening Bonds

This is our 2nd visit to this location. It feels like coming home to me. I organize women’s retreats for the women in our large family. This location provides the beds and seating for us all to be part of the visiting. It is clean, quiet and peaceful. I love it!

Refuge After the Storm

After Hurricane Beryl left our home without power and water, we were desperate for a safe haven. We found exactly that in this beautiful property. The Host welcomed us with open arms and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort during a difficult time. The property itself was so peaceful that we were able to relax and recharge. The house is located conveniently off highway and is well equipped with everything you need, especially Wi-Fi. We can not thank the host enough for the hospitality and helping us feel at home. We highly recommend this property and would like to say Thank You again for providing us with your lovely home during a difficult time. We hope to return soon for a family reunion as it's the perfect place.

What a beautiful place to stay!!

This property was great!! It was clean, well stocked with supplies, and in a beautiful location. The owner was responsive and answered any questions we had in a timely manner. The people before us forgot to leave the key in the lock box and Roxanne was over within 10 minutes to deliver a replacement. The house was so welcoming and had plenty of activities and games. Huge area to walk around. Our granddaughter loved watching the cows! A great place for a family gathering. I can't recommend it enough. Would love to stay here again.

Loved This Beautiful Home

We were all blown away at how beautiful home and property was! The home and property were so wonderfully maintained. My wife and mother-in-law fell in love with the decor. We all loved the cows! #45 and #46 as we called them, were curious but never got too close to us. Smart cows. The property was so close to I-10 but you would never be able to tell from looking around. And although you could hear the I-10 traffic, it would quickly fall into the background and we didn't even notice it. We loved having so many small towns at close driving distance. It gave us a lot of options for eating out. The house was simply amazing. We loved it. Our boys loved having their upstairs space/area to play around. The whole house was spacious for us all and yet so cozy. We enjoyed the fires outback at night. Taking it all in, it's really hard to believe this house was relocated and renovated. Roxanne was amazing in being in contact with me the entire time! She was so quick to respond to any questions we had. The check-in and check-out was about as easy as it could ever be. Our trip was amazing and relaxing all thanks to this beautiful property and home. Being so close to our home in Katy, it just added to the whole deal. Thank you!

3rd Visit

This was our third visit to this property. As usual, it was great. Peaceful, quiet, pleasant surroundings. No place better than the back porch at both sunrise and sunset. If only Mother Nature could provide more wildlife, it would be perfect.

Perfect getaway!

Easy to access from freeway and easy to get into town. Sweet little farmhouse with tons of room and thoughtful details! Kids had a blast playing games in the game barn and everyone enjoyed the fire pit and back porch! Loved that we were able to bring our family dog along, too!!!

We love this house

Great property and charming house with history. We love staying here and enjoying a kid free weekend away though it would also be great with your family. The owners are very nice and accommodating. We’ve stayed twice and plan to return yearly!

Charming, modernized farmhouse for family get together

The house was charming, decorated with lovely accents, and well-appointed. And very clean! The kitchen was outfitted with all that we needed for a family Thanksgiving meal. Plenty of room for all -- four generations (9 adults, 1 infant). Check in was easy, our stay was very comfortable, and we had a wonderful time. The location is peaceful, with fields all around. We enjoyed walks, playing corn hole and ping pong, making s'mores and just hanging out. Thank you Roxanne!
