“We had a delightful night away, all the staff were friendly and professional from arrival to departure. Great selection of drinks at the bar, good selection of food on the menu, clean and quirky bedroom and a quality breakfast. ”

“The surroundings are beautiful. There are a few areas that need a little TLC including in the room I stayed in. I will say my room was immaculately clean with fresh linen and towels. Rose on reception was brilliant, instead of pointing me to my room she took the time to show me the way. The food in restaurant is excellent, 10/10 to the chefs. There are symbols next to food items on menu which I didn't know meaning of, maybe a key chart would be beneficial. Kayla behind the bar was attentive and……

“Friendly staff”

“Lovely location. Appears to be lovely hotel set up. TERRIBLE customer service and staff. Drove 5 hours here after a paid for booking and recited email. Hotel had the confirmation and had double booked but decided to not call me but instead tell me on the evening of arrival. They said their manager would call me the next day to rectify the refund. One girl was helpful finding me a hotel twice the price 20 minutes away. The other guy working there, had a 'tough luck attitude.' I had to call a week……

“Good for an overnight stay when traveling”

“Staff was fantastic. Room had no air conditioning and was hot. Food was terrible in the restaurant. This is only for breakfast as that was all we ate there and it was pretty much terrible. The wait staff couldn’t even get the order correct and we had to keep asking. Loraine on the hotel staff was excellent!”

“Super welcoming staff - really made a difference. This is a great place to stay if you’re flying to/from Stansted as it’s a far pleasant experience than the airport hotels. It was so lovely that I’d book a weekend break there to explore the local area more.”

“Lovely area - Harlow Park. The property has a beautiful well- kept garden. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere in the house was homely. Food and drink available to buy and prepare on site in the well- eqipped kitchen. Books and board games galore. ”
