“This is an excellent hotel/inn. Very convenient for the local wedding venues, especially convenient for Coltsfoot Retreat. The rooms are very comfortable and cosy, they are tastefully decorated and finished to a high standard. The breakfast is excellent, very generous, well prepared and presented, exactly what is needed the morning after the night before. ”

“Lovely area - Harlow Park. The property has a beautiful well- kept garden. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere in the house was homely. Food and drink available to buy and prepare on site in the well- eqipped kitchen. Books and board games galore. ”

“This hotel is fabulous, I booked late, arrived late and the staff were so helpful, the receptionist and the guy who offered to help us with our bags, they were very welcoming.. The room was lovely, clean and simple and really warm which was nice on a cold winter night. The Bed was SUPER comfy, our room had a shower. We didn't get to see the restaurant but will next time. We will absolutely be staying here again. THANK YOU.”

“As always a great stay! Reception staff are always friendly & helpful. The rooms are a good size and beds are great. Shower head needs descaling but that was the only negative. They can provide fresh milk which is always a plus. ”

“登記入住時前台的女員工態度傲慢，很像不歡迎我們一樣。房間裏床單有黑色的污漬，牆上佈滿蜘蛛網，椅子夾縫還有些爆米花碎。這個集團其他酒店我也住過，但這一間是最差的，我明白一間有些歷史的洒店當然會殘舊一點，但也要保持乾淨呀!還有停車位不夠，晚點回去已沒有位置可停車，你只能泊在外面住宅區的路邊。”

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean It would have been nice to have a fridge and a safe in the room to store my passport and valuables It would have been nice to have an iron and drawers to put things into. I stayed for 5 nights so all the above would have made the stay a better experience”

“The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. Location is close to University of Hertfordshire, shopping and bus stop to St. Albans. Room was spotless and comfortable. No coffee in the room. Just tea and cookies. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.”
